And the Greedy ones win again. So they tear down Bay Meadows, Hell these people would tear down the Washington Monument and dig up Arlington National Cemetery if it meant they could steal a dollar or two or Build some more Future Slums. This IS what will become of Hollywood Park now. Building more Slums and Malls in THAT Neighborhood is USELESS. Hey let's face it this is the American Way. No Sentiment in Big Business just tear it out it will fix everything. Let's see does anybody remember The Pike? Pacific Ocean Park??? Lion's Drag Strip???The Red Car Street Cars??? and better yet do you remember what REPLACED THEM?????

Harry, you're right on. Yea, I was part of those things you mention. That was another time; a good time. Oh, when the development stalls or falls apart, the developer got his and Inglewood is left with the problems.

Who do they think they are going to sell those condos too in this economy? Is dumping a wad of commercial and retail square footage anything but insane with vacancy rates so high now?
Is this an april fools news insert - they can't really be serious. Also, the Hollywood Park Clubouse is an art-deco masterpeice - albeit a somewhat rundown one.

Inglewood is an up and coming city. It is very diverse, socially and economically. This project will change the face of the city. The project has unlimited potential. Lets hope Dorn gets it right this time.

Daily Horoscope for December 27

Taurus

Make a big effort to spend time with people you didn't see on Christmas Day, especially if they're older than you or are having a bad time at the moment. You're brimming over with compassion and empathy, which will be really appreciated by anyone who's on the receiving end of them. You're also in the mood to make allowances for people, and that will help enormously.
