Did he do drugs? YES, Did he drink alcohol? YES, Did he drive a car while intoxicated? YES, By driving while intoxicated did he endanger innocent people? YES. In my book that makes him a low life loser. You "family" members sound like enablers to me.
Were you in the car with him that night? No i didnt think so no one was but him. You dont know if he was messed up or not. And if he was so bad off then why was he able to work two full time jobs and be a drug addict can you tell me that cause i dont know one crack head who can. Thats because Kenny Knowles was a wonderful person who brightened everyone's day. And his family are wonderful people too. Yes they make mistakes but everyone does no one is perfect. so you dont know so many facts after all why dont you keep your "opinions" to yourself.... If you have noting nice to say dont say anything at all. Something my grandmother taught me.

You wonder about my parents? Well, they made sure I could read, speak and write proper English. Something you are lacking. You say I'm "unsympathetic, callous and uncaring" you forgot Cold and Calculating. These are all traits I am proud of. You see, with me, emotions don't cloud my judgments.

That explains your problem.

I will never have remorse for a druggie who dies, especially one who voluntarily gets in a car kills himself, no one held a gun to his head and forced him to drive. If he didnt want to be where he was he should have been an adult and not been high in the first place. Everyone on here keeps saying "I cant believe you'd say that about a dead person, they cant defend themselves!" This is all coming from the same hypocrates who get on here and talk about people in jail who cant defend themselves. If there is a God he did us all a favor by getting rid of another junkie, I'm only happy that no decent people(s) were harmed during the wreck although I do sympathis with the tree he struck.

Just for your information you stupid ass... he wasn't a druggies anymore. He went to rehab and was just having a good time with friends when he made a bad choice and drove home. He was drinking not doing drugs! He didn't harm anyone but himself and his family don't deserve your bullshit. I pray that when you get to hell that Satan tortures your sorry ass worse then anything. Get a life cause you probably didn't even know him. He would have given the shirt off his back for someone that needed it. So shut the hell up douchbag!

I disagree with you completely. Seriously, no one held a gun to his head and told him to drive? You can't tell me you haven't ever made a dumb decision in life, this one just cost him his life. Others are more fortunate. I'm freaking positive he isn't the only person in Claiborne county that stays high all the time. No, it's not mature but it happens. Thank you, but I'm not a "hypocrate." I don't say anything bad on here about other people. Have a heart. And yes, there is a God. We will all have to stand before him and admit to all we have done. I agree, I am glad no body else was harmed. How would you feel if this was a family member of yours? Like I said, have a heart. I "sympathis" you.

<quoted text>Fist, the "family" raised this druggie. If this "family" had done a better job maybe he wouldn't have been a druggie. Then to the "nice guy" comment, since when is a crackhead "Nice"? He was a loser and now the gene pool is a little cleaner.
As someone with drug and alcohol addiction in her family this is highly offensive. My uncle has been on and off drugs, heroin, crack, cocaine, you name it. But to say " if the family did a better job maybe he wouldn't have become a druggie " clearly shows your ignorance to this topic. My grandma used to spend nights crying wondering what she did wrong raising my uncle, she beat herself up for growing him marijuana in return for him not drinking. My grandmother my no means condoned what my uncle did nor does she now that he is grown up with his own family but she most certainly is not to blame for my uncle being a drug addict or alcoholic. She raised 3 other beautiful children who drink in moderation and would never touch a drug in their lives and also, the crackhead comment, I'm not sure where you get your information from ( obviously not a library ) but most crackheads or drug addicts in general for that matter are nice. They just have issues and have turned to drugs to escape in most cases. My heart goes out to the family. A young life was taken much to soon. He had much potential to still turn his life around. Please have some respect and if your going to post in such a emotional topic you should allow yourself to become more educated on the topic.

Well sweetie, I stand by what I wrote. Your Uncle was a looser and your Grandmother was an enabler. Drug addicts and alcoholics are weak minded people and the world is a better place when they die. No matter how you color it, Crackheads are not and never will be "Nice" people. They turn into thieves and whores, in my book that's not "nice". Maybe you think so but then from your writings I see you have very little real world experience.

And just so you know I'm his sister by blood my name is Shelby knowles and I'm not an addict I do not drink do drugs or anything in that matter. I have the best mom ever she is a church going god fearing woman. She loves unconditionally and for whoever wants to blame the family for my brothers actions can go bite a butt somewhere because my mother works in the medical field she has never done drugs she has never drank and she raised us in church she preached til she was blue in the face my brother had other issues that he tried to solve by drinking. Not doing drugs I know because I have sit and talked to him a million times. You all seriously need to give it up talking crap about him he isn't the one reading it and crying their eyes out we are and I honestly it's pathetic. My mom is devastated she will never be the same a place in heart will never be filled again. She is very depressed and most ppl would turn to drugs or alchol in a time like this but not my wonderful mother she is turning to God and the bible. She has had a rough year she lost her mom October of 2011 and ten months later lost her son. You all need to take other people into consideration before you get on here running your mouth when you know nothing. If you knew anything you would know that he wasnt intoxicated at the time of the wreck nor was he high when they got the reports back it had been several several hours since he consumed any kind of toxics so please in sake of my mom stop posting your cruel and uncalled for post!

Here's an idea, leave and don't come back. If you don't like what you read, DON'T READ IT! What the hell's so bad about someone dying? Every last one of us is going to do it sooner or later. You seem to be a "Christian" Would not meeting your God be high on your "things to do" list?
