I need some serious, honest opinions about something, preferably from folks who are involved in stock car racing. By involved, I mean the actual owners and drivers of asphalt or dirt track cars.
It's about rules. Why do we have them, who should enforce them, who should be exempt from them, and what should happen when they are broken?
Please give logical, responsible and experienced answers. The goal is to approach our local racetrack with a truly well conceived and believable answer to their problem. The problem is there are only three cars in some classes, six in another, eight in another. Over half the cars are missing.
In my case, and many others, it because of the rules, or lack of them. Same thing, when there is no enforcement or penalty.
Help me, please. We can fix this.
Thank you.
