I agree sport reporting is not one the strongest for the E R. Many times they would do stories about chico and pv football and I must say it was pretty one sided. When the heat was here it was all about them now that the outlaws are playing their story lines are pretty much bias

We would be better off without any coverage.

I have been to an outlaws game, they are not fun at all and i am a baseball fan. Maybe if they didnt suck people would write good things about them. Stop your whining and talk about something that matters. Pathetic.

Hey, this team is right about .500 last time I checked the E-R's standings page. Seems about natural that about half of what's written about this team would be negative. They lose half of the time. That sounds like fairness to me.

I often wonder why the Outlaws are a laughing stock in a lot of places in this town. It surprises me more locals wouldn't fully get behind a team that wears their city's name to destinations where Chico is unheard of or its whereabouts unknown.(It also amuses me to no end to hear people speak of the Giants as the home team here.)
But the point from this member of the Outlaws family seems to be that we are nothing but a summer getaway for the players every year. If that's the case then I could see why people would be amused that others would pay good money at the stadium to see a summer camp unfold for three months.

There was a time when a fan could grow with a team, a time when players who played well were adopted by the community. Now we have a team primarily consisting of Yuma orphans and Cadaret favorites. Gone are the Boggs, Caugheys, Pringles,Faskings and more who played well but were apparently expendable so Cadaret could create his team. It's not that this team is better, it's that this team is branded Cadaret. There is no Chico tradition or loyalty now. In fact maybe they should change the name to North Yuma Scorpions. Whatever, old guys and imports and egos.

Daily Horoscope for December 6

Pisces

Keep well clear of anything or anyone that looks like being a problem, but at least you can hold your own. This is a marvellous day for taking care of someone who isn't very well at the moment or who needs all the sympathy and understanding you can give them.
