Let's talk about life in the real world outside of the fiction section of the public libraries where this clown saw something that made him think somewhere off in Never Never Land the packers would go anything better than 4-12 this year... Vikings are going to be the only team worth talking about in the division, so I'm done even talking about the team formerly known as the Packers... They aren't even worth mentioning...

We should of signed M.B. to a longer contract extension. It would be great if we give D. Sharper a contract extension because he is the leader and mentor of the Viking defense.

Mount McKinnie club you over the head with a coconut? Just one year for M.B. is normal for a guy with something to prove with multiple injuries. D. Sharper keeps edging closer to the announcer booth every year, so much so that we don't even notice him on the field. Did you rehab with Daunte?

I thought I saw him at the Pro Bowl...

I see no reason the Vikes won't be better in 08. Jackson has another year under his belt and the signings on defence will help. I am looking forward to the draft to see what comes out of it. The Pack will have a tough time repeating what they did last year without B. Favre.

He averaged 4 tackles a game, and one interception every 4 games. Tony Richardson was in the pro bowl as well with 13 yards on 7 carries. The pro bowl is nothing but a popularity contest with players like Darren and Tony gettting voted in because of their excellence BEFORE last year. Take your brain inside where it can thaw.

TIME TO CHILL OUT! GIVE CHILLY AND RICK A LITTLE CREDIT! WITH THE WAY THEY PERFORMED IN LAST YEAR'S DRAFT AND IN THIS SEASONS FA THEY HAVE EARNED A LITTLE!! THEY SEEM TO BE DOING THE RIGHT THINGS IN A METHODICAL WAY SO GIVE THEM SOME TIME. WHETHER YOU WANT TO BELIEVE IT OR NOT THEY KNOW ABOUT THE TEAM BETTER THAN ANY OF US. OUR COMMENTS ARE BASED ON "WANT", WHILE THEIRS IS ON SOUND EXPERIENCE. I AM THE SAME AS ALL VIKING FANS I WANT THE BEST PLAYERS,AND A SUPER BOWL!! ALL IN GOOD TIME.

Kendrick Allen is just a body but at least the Vikings have recognized father time has caught Pat Williams. DT's get beat up. Kevin williams has certainly peaked also. Michael Boulware is straight line speed. Unfortunately he has found football is not straight line. As long as Mr Interviw Darren Sharper contiues to try and play safety with his 5.0 fourty time the queens will struggle.

C'mon guys quit hating T-Jack.
1st of all he doesn't have to be Peyton Manning, Joe Montana, Brett Favre. In this offense he is expected to be more like Trent Dilfer (when he lead the Ravens to the Super Bowl) and Brad Johnson (when he lead the Buccs to the Super Bowl Title).
2nd of all: He showed glimpses of what he can do in that Denver game. If T-Will hadn't dropped those two passes we would have won that game.
3rd of all: Besides the rare occasion (Brady, Roethlisberger, etc) most quarterbacks take time to realize their full potential and lead their teams to the promised land.
4th of all: T-Jack's passer rating was significantly higher in the games where he had Sidney rice than the games he didn't.
5th of all: Last season was his first full season starting, and like I said earlier with the exception of rare cases like Tom Brady and Ben Roethlisberger, most qb's struggle in their first season starting. Look at Peyton Mannings numbers from his first season, look at Brett Favre's numbers from his first season, need I go on?
6th of all: Just because T-Jack went to a D-1AA err Division 1 Championship Series school doesn't mean he can't be a good NFL QB. Tony Romo went to a D-2 school and is arguably one of the better QB's in the league. WHereas Alex Smith went to Utah and he sucks, Rex Grossman went to Florida and he sucks, need I go on?
7th of all: I say give him one more year (this year) and give him some weapons to throw to and watch him improve or if he doesn't then trade him to the Lolphins for a bag of footballs...

I get such a kick when queen fans state T-Jack saw the light in the Denver game. Denver had one of the poorer defenses in the league, fired their d-coordinator and was playing the prevent defense when T_Jack saw the light. Viqueen fans have to be one of the most ill informed, delusional fans in the league.

Chilli: Go to your blog...or go play in traffic. Please. T-Jac was going against a solid pass defense (pro bowler champ bailey and respectable dre' bly). We couldn't run, Troy 'the bust' Williamson couldn't catch, and so we lost.
BRENT J: Thanks for your thoughtful post. I couldn't agree more!!! I think T-Jac will make significant progress this year.
Packer fans: Get a life and stop hating on the Vikes. Go back to your blog and quit wasting people's time with your thoughtless comments.

The Denver D was horrible with its pass rush fueled by cleveland Brown rejects. dre Bly has been let go and champ Bailey is a pro bowler by reputation. the fact is the Vikings lack offensive tackles, the one thats in continual trouble is nowhere his reputation as a player. The right tackle has not done anything. The center/restauranteur is another year older and a step slower and I'm not certain if the left guard has proven to be worth anywhere near the coin he was paid.. We won't even talk about TE's and you have a d2 quarterback. You have a start running back whose history shows he is good for a half season. I won't even start with the defensive holes....

Which one of the three RBs, that are better than any of the others in the division, are you talking about? And as far as players getting old, who just retired after suffering a break-down on National TV? And the year previous to this last season, he looked like $h!t. And now, after GB's been neutered by this retirement, you think that The Glass Man as a QB is going to save your bacon? Hahaha.

Well at least I have a brain. Obviously you don't. Sharper's stats are very respectable compared to Safeties in the league. You, like all other dumb-ass packer fans, just can't get over the fact that we stole him from you. He's been to 2 Pro Bowls for us in the last 3 years because he's one of the best Safeties in the league. Get over it, He's ours now. Tony Richardson is a 3-time Pro Bowler for his play and blocking. He's one of the best blocking backs in the league and that's why he's been to 3 Pro Bowls. He's as good as they get at FB. Packer fans are, as everyone knows, quite dumb but you take the cake.
