Cheers So, after 3 years of watching me, you have now at last "found" my other side?!!! Come now Harry, you are being dishonest man!! I said from the very start of this forum that I did not like Arse Armstrong.

Well Pieter, the Tour de France web site showed the overall standings for stage 6 16 hours ago.
As for your watching the tour, you seem to have missed some interesting aspects of it.
So far only ZENman and Jeramy have commented about the tactical setup of this year's TDF!

After todays stage, I'm pretty sure Armstrong won't last until the end of the Tour

Bernard Hinault predicted that the French riders would do this. This mans knows his cycling!
I know you're feeling great Raymond and you have every reason to!

It seems as if all is not well in the Astana team. www.bicycling.co.za/static/tdf/columnists_art...

Please note, it's not my idea that all is not well in the Astana team. I know to little about team riding to make such a statement.
I only quoted the magazine article.

A lot of the reporters have been wondering the same thing about the ASTANA team.
Gus is right about "Team Riding," yet I can understand Alberto probably feeling frustrated as well.
Lance was already won it '7' times.
If it was me, I'd be supporting Alberto Contador in winning his 2nd TDF championship.
Believe it or not, that would actually enhance Lance's cancer program quite well.
But, that isn't how team tactics work and most of us know that. The TDF is still a long way to finishing and that's why the team managers wait in seeing how their riders will do.
Than they pick the one leader and the team supports him to the finish.
I don't think anyone wants another Greg Lemond/Bernard Hinault affair.
Cheers All

Hi Chris, Wiggens is really doing well!! He seems to be a very talented young man being an Olympics Track Champion too. He might even be a TdF champion as well within 2 weeks time!!
Take care, my friend

I've been declared sane again as you can see from my name!!! WOW, what a relief.
The Frenchmen are really doing well. Won't it be great if a Frenchman takes the honours this year?

Gus wrote: <quoted text> 'twill never happen without La Mere's Petite Helpers!!! Tonge in cheek! Surely you are not saying that for another Frenchman to win the tour in yellow, he has to follow the American example and use dope. Just like your "hero" Landis. That is the AMERICAN WAY. LOL. But as ever best regards Gus.

Further, the title of this thread is not only misleading, it is a lie. Landis has NEVER won the TDF.

Hi Pieter, As you already know, my concern is for clean riding. Nothing to do with nationality. I admire any clean rider. I just hope that this tour will not expose any new scandals. To the riders, THINK, surerly you do'nt want to be another Landis. To "win" using dope makes you a "looser" My kindest regards. Raymond
