Great job to everyone at PFD and County, answering all the medical calls for the city of Pittsfield, they do a fine job..........now if we can just get them (PFD & County) to be friends with eachother, things would go smoother!

I am both dismayed and insulted by the negative comments about County Ambulance being printed by people that won't even identify themselves. County Ambulance Service is still in business after 26 years. This does not happen by accident. My family decided in 1982 to dedicate itself to providing a better service to the citizens of Pittsfield and Berkshire County that was not available at the time. This can only be done by having deidicated employees that are passionate about what they do. Whether it was 10 employees back in 1982 or the close to 100 employees we have now, one thing remains the same. County Ambulance has the most caring, dedicated and compassionate employees anywhere and are serious about what they do.In a job that is thankless most of the time they always are professional and always go above and beyond without being asked. Whether its the Dispatchers that handle several hundred phonecalls a day,the ambulance personnel responding to the calls, the chaircar drivers or the billing staff I am proud of them all. Keep up the good work and be proud to be a County employee.

Way to go Kevin. Most people who know me know where I work and how I feel. If you don't I have been at County Ambulance Service for 14 years, 2 as an EMT and 12 as a Paramedic. I am very proud to work for County Ambulance Service and to be working for the Andrews' family. We are deticated professionals who have always put our patients first. Compition is always good yes, but lets be professional about it ok.

I see nothing but good postings about county and this donald fella keeps bashing them. It seems to me like he is affiliated with central berkshire and is trying to make that company look better and really deep down as a pittsfield resident it just makes that company look pathetic. There is nothing bad being said from county or people that know county employees. Just seeing how things are being said about county would rather me call them because it seems like central berkshire is trying to sabotage them.. You being a new company wouldn't you want good word of mouth and not negative? You lost my buisness and County has gained it. Just think about how many other people feel this way?

you know i dont fully understand why everyone has to be so negitive. The transition when A.M.R. closed was a tough one but was handled smoothly without flaw in patient care. The Andrews steped up and gave many people jobs who might have been unemployed if it had happened any other way. People bring up stuff about employees i work with because they need to make themselfs feel better about themselfs? is that it? i dont know but i can honestly tell you that i have learned alot from each and every one of my coworkers and supervisors. i can honestly say i love my county family and i personally ebjoy knowing that i have a stable work enviroment and will be around for many years to come. and its always nice to know that we will always have help if needed. good buisness people know that competition is good for buisness. We will see how things work out in the future. Let me leave you with one last coment, we may wear diffrent uniforms and have diffrent styles but in the end we all do the same job. we all care about the patients we take care of. and we should all look out for each other. how dose all this look to the people we have swore to protect and serve in their time of need. honestly if i was reading all this downgrading talk i would drive myself to the hospital.

proud to serve the citizens of the berkshires,

Its pretty sad to see the personal attacks that Donald is exhibiting towards several county employees...do you even know these people? I'd have to say obviously not, because if you did truly know them then you wouldn't be spitting lies left and right. And you know what, I haven't heard any complaints on the patient care that county employees exhibit day in and day out. And that's because they care first and foremost about the patients and the Pittsfield community. Do you think that a county emt or medic has a particular interest in jacking up the ambulance bill by starting an IV or giving oxygen? No, they don't. They get paid the same hourly wage no matter how much money the company makes, and that leads me back to the fact that the patients are the priority. They have no motive for anything otherwise. So I ask that you think about what you're saying before you run your mouth, especially because it makes you look like a complete moron who sounds like he suffers from cranio-rectal inversion.

I agree with Robert. I've come to love working at county, and its like my second family. I've always managed to walk away learning something from each and everyone of the people I work with. I have alot of respect for the most of the people mentioned in these posts, regardless of there personal lives. Like Robert and a few others said, We all have the same job and the same goals, and we all go home with the same feelings at the end of the day. I can guarantee that there will be times in the future when both companies will need to work together, and all this will need to be put behind us, and I really hope its sooner than later. I dont know who "Donald" or "Know your roll" are, and I dont want to either, but if you do work for CBA, what are really saying about your maturity? Is this gonna be an issue outside of the computer?

Ok I have been reading theses posts from day one and can't sit here and not say anything anymore. Yes, I too see that quite a few posts have been deleted, unlike Donald I feel that they were not true posts. Hense the reason they were deleted. The only "bashing" I have read is from this Donald, Know your Roll, and a couple others that were deleted and not County Ambulance employees. Talking stuff about people and their personal lives. I must agree with an earlier post from "Pittsfield Resident" that Donald and now Know your Roll are obviously Central Berskhire Employees trying to make County Ambulance look bad. To bad they have to resort to cheap shots and most likely lies to do this. I mean come on now. Do you really have to drag their personal life this? I think not. Your looking like idiots. At least it looks like the County employees have guts enough to use their real names and are standing up for the company they obviously like, their bosses, and coworkers. Also looks like the community supports County Ambulance as well. Good for you County Ambulance. Great job. Kevin Andrews said 26 years they have been in the community. Thats a long time and obviously doing well with that many employees. Thats not a mistake and doesn't come with bashing others. So after reading all theses posts I will for darn sure never call this Central Berkshire Ambulance, or CRT which I understand is a van service that is owned by the same people as Central Berkshire Ambulance. Its obvious to me that County Ambulance has the more mature employees which most likely to me would mean they would take their jobs more seriously. I will definetly be telling all my friends and family in Pittsfield to call County Ambulance if they ever need an ambulance. So Donald and Know your Roll you should think about how your actions and mouths are perseved before opening them. It might make or brake your company. County Ambulance keep up the good work.

Dear Kevin, The one and only time that my father ever needed an ambulance you guys were there. It takes a lot of education and continuing training to be an EMT. Ignorance is free and easy but it can be cured. One of these days you will be appreciated for not only who you are, but additionally for what you do for your fellow human beings. THANKS !!!!
