Sydner was definitely one of my favorite players. I used to see him on the UH campus all the time, and man he was really small. He looked to be about 5'5", and maybe 150 lbs. He was so exciting to watch. It is amazing that a guy his size made the NFL. Just goes to show you how much skills he had. He would have racked up even more yards and TD's if he were playing in June's run-and-shoot offense. June's offense is tailor-made for a guy like Sydner.

Thank you for the article. It certainly brought some deep memories. Jeff was in my Sociology class, and he was not only nice, but fun to talk to. His memorable play was, during kickoff and he was waiting to return the ball, he got hit hard and landed flat on his back. The crowd roared. A split second later after he catching the ball, he sprung back up like a spring, and as if nothing happened, he ran back to the bench. He was amazing and fearless!! Loved his return for a touchdown in the preseason as a rookie - this got him in to the big dance.

I followed his career with the Eagles then with the Jets with Kotite. No one else came close to being as dynamic as he was on the football field. His plays overshadowed that of Herschel Walker.
Thanks for the memories, Silk.

Daily Horoscope for December 31

Sagittarius

You're in a strange mood, Sagittarius. You're feeling impatient and cross, and nothing is quite right. No wonder, with Mercury and Mars retrograde, under a Full Moon lunar eclipse! But is it necessary to be quite so contrary, so determined to do the opposite of what's expected of you? Try to sort out the problem sooner rather than later, then do something energetic and therapeutic so you can burn off your nervous energy. Then you're all set for a great New Year's Eve!
