I just have questions as to why she had him driving her in her car if he had raped her a month earlier. Rape is such a violent crime and all rapers should have the key thrown away, but she was with him a second time and yet said nothing until they were pulled over in her car for a traffic violation. If she was raped he needs to go to prison. If it was consensual and she is not telling the truth then she needs to be held accountable and go to jail. Blame is free flowing here but as of now only those two and God know what happened. They are both innocent until the truth and the lie are exposed.

I see where you are coming from and you are right: only those two and God know what truly happened.

However, rape can cause deep psychological issues. It is easy to say you act rationally after a rape when you have never experienced it. Who knows what is going through her head? Guilt over what happened? Maybe she felt like she lead him on so it was partly her fault? Fear of embarassment? Maybe Roger Lewis Jr threatened her? Fear that no one would believe her because he is this big superstar athlete? His word against her. Pressure from family to 'marry this boy' who is destined for a college scholarship and maybe a professional career? Fear of losing popularity? Not wanting to be treated as a victim?

I could go on and on. I am not saying he did or didn't do it but I think it is unfair to assume that he didn't just because she didn't immediately report it. The truth will come out eventually. But, given our slow justice system, it will probably be around a year-and-a-half or two before this is settled.

Has any heard about the suppopsed video that Lewis has showing him having consensual sex with the victim in her car during Jan. taped with her consent? That is what is going around at the school.

Roger Lewis found not guilty on second count of rape and Judge declared a mistrial on the first count as the jury couldn't come to a consensus.
