Their biggest hole is in their farm system which has very few if any top notch prospects. free agency won't help that any time soon.

Never fear. The Yankees have secured a world championship with the off-season acquisitions of Russ Canzler and Thomas Neal...LOL. Is Cashman the General Manager or the Garbage Collector?

The biggest problem is an aging left side of the infield that can no longer stop the ground balls from going into the outfield. Their farm system is at least a few years away from producing prospects who could immediately help the team. Lets hope their aging pitching staff still has something left in the tank. This year does not look particularly promising for the Yankees. They will likely win more games than they lose, but they will likely not qualify for the post season.
