EUGENE, Ore. - Walter Dix , who had already qualified for the Beijing Olympics in the 100 meters, won the 200 on Sunday at the U.S. Olympic track and field trials.

What a great accomplishment for that man . I read over the weekend that Coral Springs also has the top seeded Judo guy in the Olympics, and that the 41 year old Swimmer from Coral Springs, Dara Torres, won the event she needed to qualify. They have a pretty nice representation of Olympians this time from little old Coral Springs.

As an Economics grad student with a degree in Real Estate from one of the finest academic institutions in the country, I agree. I do have very big aspirations for myself. I also know that as soon as I walk across that stage I'll be moving back to Coral Springs. Nothing like living in the safest city in the state of Florida and having a median home value of $450,000. Not to mention the future I'll have in Real Estate in all areas of West Broward after I graduate following the slump. Perfect timing!
