ABfan wrote: <quoted text> If I were wrong, why are you still here posting on a Jr forum to Jr fans? Oh my how dumb you are! Thank you for proving my point perfectly. I don't have to ignore posts on a DALE JR FORUM, of a driver I like. Why again are you here? Oh yeah, you have no life and don't like Jr and like to constantly bash him to his fans. My point proven yet again. If I am wrong, stop posting. If I am right, you will continue to come on here harassing the fans of a driver you claim to dislike. If I'm wrong I should stop posting? If you are right I will continue to post? Now there's some logic to go by. You use to have good points, now you've stooped to a new low and make petty, childish comments. The funny part is you do this in defense of a race car driver, someone you don't even know. That's pathetic.

He's so afraid of Carl "Mr. ED" Edwards that he runs the car into the wall before "ole horseface" does, at least Jr. isn't scared of his own shadow like Greg "The Sniffle" Biffle, lol!!! How would Jr. know if he's afraid of his own shadow? He's not on the track long enough to cast one. Yes you are correct, GB does suck, but the sad part is, you wish Jr. sucked as bad as GB does. Still laughing?

Jim wrote: <quoted text> I seem to recall that I was the one who was harrassed first on this forum for stating my opinions. If excuse nation didn't act like a bunch of three year olds when someone says something they don't agree with, then I would be more civil. When you make comments like; "I'm not the only one on here that tends to use vulgarity", you should realize how immature that makes you sound. Here is where I use your own statement against you. You stated that if I don't like vulgarity, I should leave. Well, if you don't like what I say then why don't you leave? Don't try to play the innocent victim here, Jim. You got on here from day one and acted like an ass to all of us, and pretty much you have blasted us all for being Junior fans. People have tried being civil to you, but you only know one way to act-like a JERK. If you don't want people to call you names or use vulgar language towards you, leave. It's not like we would miss you.

Exactly, this is a Jr. forum. Show me where it says that you have to like him to post here. Good, bad or indifferent, anyone can post on here. So I have as much right to say what I want as you do. If you dislike it you have the choice to leave.

Actually this is a forum about a writer who wrote an article stating that Joonyer was the most overrated athlete in sports, now, again, tell me why somebody who does not like Joonyer should not be here in support and agreement with said writer? I agree with Ray McNulty so, if anything, I should be here supporting his position on Joonyer.

Ski wrote: <quoted text> I have no clue?? I was on a top IRL team for several years. I have been in aviation for over a quarter of a century...I think I have an idea of G forces and how they affect the body. My opinions are based on my experiences, not NASCAR nation.com or where ever you get your information. The drivers position in the car, custom seats, properly placed padding, etc negate a large amount of the G forces you talk about. Cat like reflexes...hand/eye coordination that is off the charts...concentration that matches a world class chess player...YOU have got to be kidding me. Where did you come up with all of these nifty little catch phrases? As I said, an althete can be a race car driver, but a race car driver is NOT an automatic athlete. If you choose to believe all the hype, good for you. Ski, I have a question, since G-Forces are the result of Gravitational force combined with either centrifugal force, acceleration or deceleration forces, in the case of racing, how does a custom seat, position in a car or padding negate a large portion of G-Forces? These three things might provide some comfort for the body, however, they do nothing to negate the external forces that combine to cause gravitational force or the others that multiply the effects of gravity. Race drivers are athletes, just as boxers are athletes, there are many sports that do not require extreme cardiovascular development, such as weight lifting, baseball or football, these sports require specialized athletic skills for short term burst of activity. Racing actually requires extreme ability to operate on the highest level in hand eye coordination for extended periods of time in extreme heat and with the ability to withstand the constant changes in G-Forces that would cause most people to throw up. A race car driver is more like a jet pilot in what he or she needs to compete and I would think that we can all agree the pilots are athletes.
