Caught dirty? Come clean

How about:
"Even if you're not caught, come clean" ? As a bolts fan, I've gotten plenty of ribbing about Merriman's suspension. Fair enough. However, I know athletes in college football and pro hockey and guess what? Drug use is rampant. Folks, I'm betting it is in pro football too. And baseball. And anywhere that strength =$1 million+ and the testing is way behind the technology. Biking has degenerated into "who has the best biochemist?". Don't fool yourselves, football has too--way more money on the line in pro football, way more doping. Do we care? Not really. As long as the product is good on Sunday. Never mind the fact that these guys are dropping by the time they're 50. |

The media is partly to blame for this mess too. They hype up players and even run stories like this one that glorify players like Merriman. Instead of covering the players, how about they stop giving them attention?
Athletes crave attention. That's how they get endorsements, big contracts and fan adoration. Stop giving it to him. Shawn Merriman could very well have been a great outside linebacker. To me, he is now just a hack job. Another freakazoid on roids to be laughed at like the circus exhibit that he is. His stats mean nothing to me now that he has failed a roid test. He didn't know the substance was in his supplement? What a line of BS. An athlete's physical condition is the lifeblood of their performance. It's their job to know what goes in their body. He knew. Ever notice how the excuse is always, "I didn't know substance "x" was in there." Sure. |

So now that he's tested every time he pees AND he will still put up 20+ sacks this year and eat Rex for lunch today, what will you say then??? LOL |
i agree. hell yes steroids are WAAAAYYYY more common than people want to believe. shit, high-schoolers even get busted for using vitamin S regularly. |
He's obviously on HGH..They cant test for that..And besides did you see how big his head is compared to the rest of his body. They probably had to custom order a helmet for him |
yeah, because steroids are widely known for manipulating skeletal growth (specifically in the skull). |
No HGH is you fool...go read a book. |
hmm, you seem a little bitter about your bears. it's okay you'll be back to dominating the minor leagues again soon. and no, HGH does not change BONE density/girth in people outside of their childhood years, smart guy. stop trying to pretend you know shit. it effects muscular and connective tissue for people older than their teens because bones have stopped growing. it's called physiology. |
