okay first off, that is not what i ment. everyone freaked out on here. and, i can tell you for a fact, no one is going to single you out now. i promise. so please don't worry. im sorry. i really didn't mean it like that.
and also, i said "Bullying the seniors" beacause you had said that it was a sophmore bullying a freshmen that you saw... But if thats what you saw, why is all the blame against the seniors? i personally haven't seen a senior bully a freshmen at all this year, and i haven't heard of it happening. so if it has, and i am unknown to it, i apologize. I really think all of this is getting out of hand. I think it all just needs to stop. chance has made his point (and has you). ive realized that not all high school students have a good time, and i hope that your year and years to come get better. i was thinking, and maybe we should all come together and talk things through (in school, have the seniors and freshmen get together and talk about how you guys feel, and how the seniors feel.) maybe we could actually solve something, instead of everyone arguing on the internet. everyone needs to come together and stop the fear that has been put into some of the freshmen/sophmores.
So as a Senior, i apologize. i really hope this situation comes to a close and all is better for everyone involved.

Perfect example why people use screen names and not their own. Watch out for the cyber stalkers...

sports boosters question wrote:
<quoted text>
Isn't the boosters for the sports programs? Sports are important, but a lot of funds at local schools already go to sports. All the other touchy feely programs like music and art are cut to support sports, so I'm just not willing to put more money into a program that only benefits 1/4th to 1/2 of the kids at a school. Challenge Day would benefit ALL the students including those in and out of sports. Does sports boosters support fundraising for these other programs also? If it did maybe the parents of the other students would donate time and money. If I'm wrong about this please let me know. I'm just not that familliar with the boosters, except that I buy things like drinks and snacks at spots events.
we are actually known to have one of the BEST music programs in Lake County. Not only that, but during my freshman year they began building a 2 million dollar performing arts center specifically created for CLHS band and choir. So NO, the money doesn't all go to boosters

High school is the last step before becoming an adult. Highschollers should therefore start learning that such moronic behavior as bulling, booing, throwing objects at others is not acceptable or tolerated in the real adult world. If that were to happen in college or at work, they would get their asses kicked and fired. Better to adjust their behavior in HS rather than later when it's too late.

I know at our kids school they have fund raiser, like selling food and drinks, car washes, etc.., to support the sports program. Is your answer about the clhs sports boosters or some other school?
More info please.
The poster was wrong. The boosters club is not just a sports boosters club. they support all the school's endevors.

hey Thomas, watched the news lately? There are MANY adults booing, bullying and throwing objects (bombs, hand grenades, rockets etc) at each other. Yeah, people are getting their butts kicks alright. Seems like it or not it is out there in the real world. And to think it all comes from CLHS! Least that what it seems from many of these posts.

Yes, I know it's out there but just because it is, does not make it acceptable to be rude and inconsiderate to others. I don't subscribe to the "herding instinct" that many people do. This is my last comment on this subject. Peace!

Blah, blah, blah, did you let this M person you drew attention to what you did and that she might be in danger? Did you let the admin. know? Or is M on her own even though you have no proof it is the same person who posted here? I appreciate your apology, but it was an apology followed with a "but, but," I hope you made things right with M and not just the people posting here! I hope you learned that is inappropriate to disclose someones identity when your not sure who they really are!

For your information, you don't know what I see at lunch so don't go making assumptions. It is not Freshmen picking on freshmen, or Sophomores picking on Sophomores. I tend to hang out with sophomores and freshmen, so it is usually the sophomores picking on the freshmen. Before you start accusing me of stuff please at least try to get your facts strait, you don't know who I am so therefore I have no clue why you are judging me.
so who exactly do you see getting picked on at lunch cuz i usually sit with u megan and its usually about a stalker / sophmore!!!

Daily Horoscope for January 4

Pisces

Family, friends and in-laws are all hard to please. It is better to please yourself for once, dear Pisces, than to bang your head against a wall. You need to relax and get in touch with your own feelings. Do not hesitate to speak up for someone you care about. Someone may try to curtail your freedom. Set them straight and do not give in.
