Well, the Saints fans can go back to bagging their pathetic noggins. You aren't playing a last place schedule this year, time for a reality check, the Saints aren't Super Bowl contenders, maybe you could beat Michigan!
The Pats fans and team have to be crapping in their drawers right now, they didn't expect the defense to be that good. I can't wait until the Colst beat the snot out of "Gopher Teef" and the Pat"Geriatrics".

Will people finally quit dissing the defense? Give Dungy and Polian credit, they know what they're doing. To answer the question about last season here it is. The Colts were so undersized they weren't able to OVERACHIEVE every single game. We may see it this year but they will shine when it counts.

It was good to see Matt Giordano score a TD. A great reward for your hard special teams work.

Jason, Mike, and Nick who? I hope this will shut ALL the critics up. Eventhough it was only one game, you guys have to admit that was unreal. I did NOT expect this type of blowout. I love games like this. This game is definitely a stepping stone in hopes of what could be a REPEAT of a championship season. Way to go guys!!!! I honestly can NOT find anything negative about this game (except for Reggie's fumble, which he more than made up for). Please DO NOT have a let down game next week against Tennessee. GO COLTS!!!!! Way to start off the 2007 season.

If the Colts' defense is for real, can 16-0 be out of reach?

It would be hard to imagine a better all-round performace.

When have the Colts ever combined such a dominant defense and efficient running game as tonight?

With those kinds of efforts to support him, Peyton will always have a cakewalk. And how can anybody stop such a juggernaut?

16 and 0 will never happen. To much crap to deal with. Injuries, post season pressure, etc... It's just a big distraction anyways. It's pro football. Upsets happen, everyone that plays is elite, so you never know who will beat you... But the colts did look phenomenal. I was shocked on how well the defense performed. It's something to be excited about... Does anyone else smell 16, and 0!!!???!?!? I DO BABY!

The thing I was happiest about (beside the win)was Keith running the ball in garbage time in order to save wear and tear on Addai. The mistake that the Colts made in the Egerrin James era was that James would still be carring the ball when the game was already decided. Consequently James had terrible playoff games because he was worn out. It was nice to see also that Keith averaged 6 yards a carry while Rhodes only averaged 3.2 last year during the regular season.

The Colts really spanked the Saints who were supposedly going to be real tough to play..so much for the forecasters, etc.

However, I'm not too impresssed with the Colts schedule this year..kind of a lame lineup this year. I though the schedule would be a lot tougher. And only one Monday Night Football appearance as well.
