Yes, he need these hard working Union workers that make this great money because someone will have to pay the increases in taxes to pay for all of the promises this young inexperience person is making to everyone. Remember, if it sounds to good to be true, its probably is.
What really concerns me, is that I see a Obama and Clinton ticket in the future and it will be extremely difficult to beat that liberal team by any other political Presidential hopeful.
As a Conservative, it will be pleasant not to have a Republican President in Office during the next four years and to listen all the time to the blame game. The affect Obama and Clinton will have on America is highly alarming and should be a concern to every Christian who values the American Way of Life. Including our values on Christianity, work, Marriage and Self-reliant because it is obvious that Senator Obama has a long way to go in this department. Remember the Roman Empire.
God Bless America.

I think unions are the reason that people are losing all these jobs. No more unions.

Anyone that thinks were can go back to the 'ol American Way of Life should seek shelter. It's gonna be a rude awakening when you realize that it'll never happen. What's done is done.

If you always do what you've always done, you'll always get what you've always got......and look what we've got...?? The times, they are a changin'.

How can Obama refuse to put his right hand over his heart and refuse to say the pledge of allegiance, which is a symbol of this great country of ours, and then people vote for him thinking that he will be a good leader?

I agree GR Mich. Makes one wonder.....Makes one really wonder.

I still have issues over the fact that no one mentions his middle name. Is it a family name? Come on...if we REALLY thought about it....I don't know the customs of the country and I really don't care to know them -- that is why I haven't visited there. But then people call me prejudice...no I am trying to think rationally and read in between the lines.

I take offense to this..."The affect Obama and Clinton will have on America is highly alarming and should be a concern to every Christian who values the American Way of Life. Including our values on Christianity, work, Marriage and Self-reliant..."

I am a liberal Democrat, and a Christian. I work hard, and am getting married. I'm also self-reliant.

Oh my, you are about to change into a Conservative. Wait til you have kids and the govt. tries to tell you how to raise them. The higher taxes that will impact your household when you are trying to buy things for your family. The self reliant part of you will make you change.....

I don't take offense to it at all. I relate to it and see it as a huge concern.

You are offended, see whos offended when the democrats are able to put their agenda in place when they control congress and the whitehouse: they will repeal the "Bush' tax cuts on the lower and middle class, raise taxes on the lower and middle class, and they take away more of your civil rights,
etc..........

None of the 3 left have any clue to solve the problems. Hillary will promise anything you want for a vote. Obama has no ideas just idealogy. McCain is no conservative. Ron Paul is the only guy who has a clue. Union's aren't the problem. It is our government leaders. We need someone with NO experience because anyone with experience(except Paul) is to corrupted already.

Wow, that appearance with John Edwards brought tears to my eyes several times. By the end of Obama's speech I was totally sobbing. Why? I'm going to be 67 this year and that's the America I love and want to belong to. Except it's more than one country, it is a way of being for all people. When we do this at home we can once again be a beacon and haven and example for others. I can hardly to wait to see more and more and more of this. WOW!!!

All I can say to the Obama haters is this. If what the Republicans are cooking is good, why in the hell are we where we are as a country. It is their fault that they screwed things up so bad that they left the back door wide open for someone like Obama to walk through. The reality is, he is not going to be able to do all the things that he said he's gonna do, however, if he can just be successful in a couple of things (ending the war in Iraq, creating a universal healthcare plan or funding No child left behind, renewed respect of world governments), we will be better off as a country.
