This is ridiculous. If it said "white male" then that would be racist. I am so sick of the BLACK statistics. No one cares. I think that no race should even be put on the forms. They want equality so let's see them get in by their grades. It won't happen. the only reason they even make it to college is because they have to have a certain percentage of black people. we all know it is true. that is prejudice if you ask me, against white people. yep, it swings both ways!!

Maybe it should have been emphasizing that more males were enrolling rather than emphasizing that they are black. I never saw many white males down there or many white people at all. Did there used to be a lot of white males there? Ever?

So it`s a good school for some people, it`s attracting students, the fees aren`t so high, the view of the river is nice. And probably affirmative action would run the other way there if you were white and wanted to enroll as a minority and so receive help with fees. Has it really got anything to do with grades in this case.

If the above poster wants to make university have more to do with grades than other factors then maybe he should go on hunger strike outside Belmont and Vandy which is filled with students of old money or unreasonable debt.

Thank you. I could not have said it better myself. Let's also consider Black History Month, Black Entertainment Televesion (BET), NAACP, etc. If these were all white also, they would all be screaming racist. This is disgusting.

Btw, the reporter that did this report would be Rodney Dunnigan who just happens to be BLACK. That fact speaks volumes about racism within Ch5.
