Bradley officials aim for future Europe routes

Bradley International Airport officials say they have every reason to hope that a nonstop Europe route could be revived when fuel prices stabilize.

I drive alot of people to JFK and EWR for trips to London. The marketing team, if one exisits should talk to BA, Virgin Atlantic and other international carriers. Customs and traffic alone would draw many people!!

London would be a great destination for Hartford. I was a but shocked to hear that only 25k was spent on marketing efforts for the region in Europe. I have attended many of the travel shows in Norway (Oslo) and to say the least the New England representation consisted of a map and an unmanned stand.

I want to know what happened to te State monies they gave to promote this service and advertise it? Just another example of the state pouring money down a drainhole and not getting anything in return or holding the recipients to their original plan.
