It's very sad that there are so many negative comment but in reality it's very tragic what Cales went to jail for his poor actions caused alot of pain.Lose is a very devistating thing to go threw.I hope that we all can take a moment and take all the loss and pain and educate our young children so that we can all break the cycle of young violence today.

I bet if he was in there for killing one of your family members, you would not be feeling so sorry for him. Or so forgiving. So let’s stop being so ignorant and just agree that justice was served. This is a win win situation. The tax money that was going to be spent on him could be used to educate ignorant people like you. Look at it this way, in another state he probably was going to be sentenced to the lethal or electric chair punishment. So what’s the difference, he just got sentenced by his own deeds, if he had not done what he did, he never would have ended this way. He was not in jail for being a good boy or for praying, he ended in jail for what he did. So let it be......

I agree with number 1. He should have been given the death penalty in the first place. Anyone who kills should get it. Not only that, it should be done right then and there. None of this waiting around in a jail cell for years wasting our tax dollars.

I respect how everyone feels and I am infact closer then you think to one of the girls that was killed in the accident family.I am just sadden by it all I am not in any way taken up for Cales .But soon you all will learn why I say it's a terrible loss..

I am related to the inmate accused of killing cales. How would you feel if you have to see the person that killed your loved one everyday walking past you? How can anyone have sympathy for a man that killed 5 people? cales deserved it. I am not saddened by his death. Only sad that people want to make my relative look like an animal. do you think you could take seeing that person all the time? Come on.. they were in the same jail and housed in the same unit. What did the state expect

As most of us heard, it was a relative and I don't think anyone really blames him as much as understand it! Yes, he did deserve it and I dont blame him at all, as a matter of fact, I may have done the same!

he wasn't giving the death penalty because he wasn't charged with 5 counts of murder. he was charged with 5 counts of manslaughter. manslaughter is not a death penalty crime. plus the state's attorney couldn't prove murder.

The guy who killed Cales is a HERO.. he did waht tha court failed to do. JUSTICE

he was in fact related to 1 of the victims. The victims mother is saying on the news that he was not related. She is denying him because she does not want cales' family to think she was involved in his death. why she cares? frankly i dont know. I am hurt by that. If my relative knew about it he would be deeply hurt. he did not intentionally kill cales. It was only 1 punch and nomore than 2 kicks. that was all. it was a fight gone wrong. But am i sad cales died? no 4 him but yes 4 my relative
