Kids are idiots. And the drinking age is way too low. Also very few kids under 25 should be allowed to vote. Most are immature dopes until they get out of school, get into a real relationship and get a job with real responsibilities.

This guy was doomed from the beginning with a name like Eder. But more importantly, I'm wondering how this azzhole got a lighter through security given the millions of dollars that have been spent upgrading airport security with high tech x ray equipment.

Anyone old enough to take a bullet for George is old enough to smoke, drink, and vote as far as I'm concerned. |
I couldn't agree with you more. I have to correct your statement though, it should read: "Anyone old enough to take a bullet because of George is old enough to smke, drink and vote as far as I'm concerned" |

You are both wrong. They are not taking a bullet "because of, or for" George. They are over there fighting and taking bullets, so you can write stupid, liberal comments, in English, instead of Farsi. But I do believe anyone with a active duty ID card should be allowed to drink and vote.

Okay genius, you make one credible argument that hasn't been disproved by several international studies that shows how the war in Iraq is making me safer, and I'll eat my hat. How about you address the study commissioned by the President that showed that our continued presence in Iraq is strengthening international terrorism and directly led to them obtaining financial independence? When a President starts a war of aggression, he is responsible for the lives lost under his orders. Stop acting like this is WWII and we were drawn into this conflict by an unprovoked attack. The unprovoked attack didn't come from Iraq. It came from a non-national entity that was being supported in several middle eastern nations (almost every single one of them as a matter of fact, EXCEPT Iraq). The hijakcers of 9/11 weren't Iraqi. They were Saudis. The operation wasn't funded through Iraq. It was funded through Pakistan with cooperation of sitting government officials. The logistic support for the operation didn't come from Iraq. It came from Afghanistan. Where we reduced troop levels before finishing planned operations in order to send those military assets to Iraq. Finally, Iraqis don't speak Farsi. Iranians speak Farsi. Iraqis speak Arabic. They actually speak what is referred to in Arabic-speaking countries as "Iraqi," which is a derivation of Modern Standard Arabic. If you can't even figure out what language is spoken in different middle eastern nations, don't pretend to be an expert on foreign affairs. And don't tell someone who's been shot at and bombed during operations in this war that I'm waiting for other people to defend my rights for me. That may be true of you, but not me. |
