This guy is an empty suit. The more people learn and listen to him, this trend will continue. Go back to your Senate Banking Committee.

I am suprised how close it is however, given the fawning media coverage, and all the productive people that have moved out of the state.

Beats increased taxes, lack of an energy policy, and 143 days of experience in the Senate. Also beats Socialism. Europe loves him as does the press. We should be running from him big time.

Heard part of his speech in Germany. He was parroting JFK and Ronald Reagan. "Tear down the walls.." How original! Worked for them, why not him? Well, they were PRESIDENTS of the U.S.! Is he putting himself in that category? Said at first, he was not there as a candidate...then said he looks different from the usual candidates in America. So is he presenting himself as a "candidate" or NOT? Plus playing the race card...

I really do not dislike him on a personal basis..but he is just SO using publicity (free, considering this trip) Yet, he won't debate McCain..why? Because he has to stand on his own without a teleprompter, written script. That is just plain scary to me. He says what people want him to say...doesn't "tell it like it is" as McCain is not afraid to do. Always pie in the sky stuff with Obama/Dems. Aren't we more intelligent than to be swayed by that rhetoric? The Dems. took over Congress and what did they do?? Not a damn thing. Made things worse! More empty promises. I would rather hear the bad news and here's what we should do, than "I can promise you nirvana". NO ONE CAN! Tell us the truth, we can handle it!! McCain respects the intelligence of the American People..doesn't treat them like idiots.

AND...I must add that the way the media does not "report", they promote. I guess they just want the "story" of history being made with a black (or if it were Hillary, a woman). Hang the country out to dry...they got a good story to hang onto. Neither fair OR balanced. So obvious.

As I've said before: If only those people who have held jobs in Michigan and haven't been on welfare were allowed to vote, Obama wouldn't have a friggin chance. Unfortunately, because we have the entire east side of the state to deal with, Obama will probably win Michigan.

Obama doesn't have a friggin chance, because he is the biggest dip s I have ever seen in my life. This guy and his wife graduated from Ivy league schools?

There is no doubt in my mind that I am 10 times smarter than this incompetent being.

Hey union hacks keep voting for Democrats, because your union tells you to, sheep!!!

There you go. I had not heard of that creeping red menace in such a long time. You guys were getting soft. Socialism! Your pet phrase. What would you do w/o it? I am glad Europe likes Obama. Bush has alienated all of our traditional allies. Even the limeys had the good sense to get out of Iraq! We will need our NATO allies to fight the real menace, the Taliban in Afghanistan. You know, the nation that DOES border Pakistan. The nation where Osama bin Laden, remember him, was last seen?

So the entire east side of the state is unemployed & has not worked. Wow. Let's see your facts on that one, professor! Last time I checked the entire east side of the state probably has the same right to vote as you do. My problem w the east/west thing is that for many it is a thinly veiled black/white thing. East side of the state contains many people who would not easily fit into that dichotomy. It's a word. Look it up. Although you bandy socialist around w/o having any real idea what it means.

Yeah, I guess you're right. With your GED I am sure you are light years smarter than either of the Obamas. Thanks for the union baiting, though. No post on here is complete w/o it. How about them socialists? Missed them. Liberals, too. Wow, can't be too careful now, can we Cletus?

Unfortunately you're right; the east side of the state does have a right to vote. My point was, and maybe it was lost on you, I'm quite tired of taking care of lazy people with my tax money. I'm quite tired of generations of families continuing to live on the states money instead of getting a job. I'm quite tired of of people who DO NOT contribute to their communities let alone the state of Michigan to have a say in who the leader of this country should be. I'm pretty sure most people would agree with me when I say that the east side of the state makes up the larger portion of "slackers" in Michigan. Don't need to look it up. It's a fact.

Sure. Don't let poor people vote so you can keep them down. Sounds like typical neo-con values.

Just as bad. Still a neo-con idea, deciding who "deserves" to vote or not. What a great way to separate the classes even further.

Are you that stupid? It was a point he was making. I can spell it out for you...

Only citizens that want the Government to take care of them and provide all thier needs are going to vote for the Messiah.

He wasn't actually saying people without jobs shouldn't be able to vote. Geez.

Let's not forget that it was a Democrat (Clinton) who had the opportunity literally right in front of him to take out Osama Bin Laden and didn't do a flippin thing about it. Could have avoided 9/11. No wonder they have a **** for their party symbol.

Sure, poor people should vote. There are actually poor people who do have jobs. Those people who won't take hand outs to support themselves. Am I against welfare? Absolutely not. I believe that people need help from time to time. Most of us believe that we would hope that help would be there if we needed it. Here's the key:....It's supposed to be TEMPORARY. Get the help, get on your feet and contribute to the whole community. Stop accepting financial aid for years and then vote in candidates that support your lifestyle. Make sense?

It will be the people who are sick of unnecessary unjust war and the debt it causes who will be voting for him. It will be the people who are sick of republican policy that widens the gap between the rich and poor who will be voting for him. It will be the people who are sick of the republican attacks on Constitutional rights who will be voting for him.

Unjust war? Do you believe its a coincidence that we haven't been attacked on U.S. soil since 9/11? Oh, I forgot you're probably privy to the same information that our President receives on a daily basis. You are in a position to say it's a unjust war because you watched the News, right?
