Im against it being brought into a house hold if your breaking the law.. But for goodness sake.. Alcohol was illegal at one time too.. come on! Shame on me... Even if not allowed for medical reasons let the darn stuff be used for other reasons.. shame on me.. and by the way.. every time i see your name it makes me giggle like a young girl.. thank you.. love it! |

No UNWANTED side effects? which of the following is WANTED? Marijuana side effects can be as seemingly innocent as an increased appetite to as life threatening as lung cancer. Increased likelihood for accidents is also one of the marijuana side effects. Studies show that 6 to 11 percent of fatal accidents are contributed to by marijuana side effects. Other external marijuana side effects include legal problems, work and financial problems and troubles at home. Marijuana side effects from an overdose include toxic psychosis including hallucinations, delusions and a loss of self-identification. LC |
Incorrect, like most people my life has been touched by cancer. My mother died of cancer, so have my mother in law and several extended family members. I know the grief and have seen the sorry and pain that it can bring to people. |

Please read again the person that I was quoting. He based his justificatin of legalizing marijuana because he enjoys it. That is what I was arguing against by using the analogy of legalizing murder because someone might enjoy it. That's a outlandish proposal and JUST as outlandish as proposing legalizing marijuana. |

1 The commonality was "enjoyment". That by our reasoning we "couldn't try Dahmer for muder because he enjoyed it". Okay... I get it. Only YOU and ATREIDES have literary license and the right to be ABSURD. Excuse the heck out of me and the rest of us. Give us some more absurdity... and then ping on us for illustrating absurdity by being absurd. It's really balooning the number of postings and ,aking it easier for others to find this forum. Thanks for your assistance. |

You already know I would. It seems clear that Sand Worm 1 and Mr. Wiggly likely would too. I bet Momamarie would benefit from it. She has a touching story about her son. |

1 OMG - The 1920's called... they want their copy of "Reefer Madness" back... lol. I knew alot of stoners in high school and college... and not one of them has had hallucinations from pot. I've never heard a news study. I've never heard mention of it in college. I've never heard such a thing in the thousands of AA meetings I've been in. I've never read it in the recovery literature I have read... only 5 books, but how many have you read? I've also know 2 scizophrenics... and they never touched the stuff. Nice to know that Atreides and Say What have someone else in their camp. BTW - that is NOT a compliment. |
Man why are you being such a buzz kill? PPPPPPPPPsssssssffffftttt. I haven't changed in 20 years. |

Do you people want a country full of potheads. Come on, show me a successful pot smoker. How many tweekers, crackheads and junkies started out smoking weed.

You are right my friend. Just look what it did to our president! |

In posts 68,233, and 347 you admit those things as I stated them in my own post. I have in no way twisted your words. I am simply pointing out that while you initially said you benefited from the pain relief of marijuana, NOW comes a mention of relief from a racing mind. |

I sure hope I am. Next thing is going door to door. Why call folks & get hung up on when I can go out in the purdy sunlight with the birds and floating butterflies & buzzing bees and ramble on with strangers? You all get my drift... |
