Regardless of all other allegations, if he does truly live outside his district, that's an issue.

This Judge has served Kent County for 35 years, why all of a sudden do this to him. It is all political. Ruin a man's life because of a new courthouse. Mr. Fischer should be disbsrred.

Living outside of his district....is an issue??

That can't be an issue.....Kent County is in the process of building a courthouse outside of his district. They see no problem with that......so this can not be an issue !!

Judge Servaas is a great Judge and a wonderful person and friend and I have known him most of my life. What he is being accused of is just stuff that has been blown out of perportion because Paul Fisher doesn't have anything real to get him off the bench. Good Luck Steve We know everything is going to turn out ok.

Go Judge Servaas......he has served his district well for the past 35 years. He does not deserve this mess.

I truly hope this will end up as a "turn about is fair play" and Fischer gets his turn to be raked over the coals, loses his job and has to pay the Judge's legal fees in full.

Nothing will make me happier. He can count on my vote, once again, in November.

Yes because it is so important to back a man who believes himself above the law.

yes, let's suspend a most basic concept of democracy that elected officials live where they serve. Perhaps we can even name the new Court House for Judge Servaas...We can call it Steve Servaas' Justice for Me Memorial Court House.

We're all on the same team here! Too bad we can't skip today's hearing and go directly to the Supreme's [The Supreme Court]
I've been thinking about 'moving' up to my Aunt's house up in Rockford just so I can vote for him...on the flip side, if I stay and vote where I'm at, I can vote against Sara...decisions...decisions!!

Sock it to em' Steve!

That is a wonderful idea....Sara, Dona and Rebecca would get to see that sign every day!

You need to contact Roger Morgan and the rest of the Kent County Commissioners and "make it happen!"

As far as "suspending the most basic concept of democracy that elected officials live where they serve"....by now we all know that what is wrote in the guidelines is very vague.

Again, IF Kent County can build a new $8 Million dollar PLUS courthouse outside of Judge Servaas's district and expect him to hold court there, his living outside of his district can not be an issue.

You haven't the slightest idea what you are talking about. Judge Servaas has TWO homes, and divided his time between them. If the one outside his district was such an issue, why wasn't it brought up years ago, when he bought it? He certainly wasn't keeping it a secret.

It's a witch hunt instigated by Smolenski, Morgan and Fischer. Nothing more, nothing less.

Kent County (Grand Rapids specifically) can't fund their schools, but they can spend 8 million on an unneeded courthouse. Foreclosures are out of this world, Michigan has the highest unemployment rate in the country (aside from Hawaii)....who is going to pay for this courthouse? This is nothing but a political prosecution and if Fischer isn't charged with extortion, then there is more seriously "wrong" with the "system" than what's already been presented. Servaas has my support.

Actually the law says you only get one. Even Servaas is not making your argument.

And you have one little bitty problem with your argument...in 2007 Mr. Servaas rented out the property you claim is his 2nd residence. Oddly enough he continued to use it for his driver's license and voting registration.

Have you read the briefs?

While we welcome your support for Judge Servaas, please stay where you are at...you can do more good there.

Call Mr. Boer, who is running against the "incumbent" in your division and offer to help with his campaign. Tell all of your friends and have them get out and vote for Mr. Boer.

Yes! And we will let the good poser judge make up the laws as he goes along. This is what justice is all about.

It is vague only to Steve Servaas because he needed an out. The people who are not drinking the Servaas conspiracy kool aid get it. Just because Steve can serve it up in the finest crystal does not mean the kool aid is anything but kool aid.

Yes it is a conspiracy. Evil Judge Sara wants to ruin the man's life and did it using his own dumb mistakes....Golly Goober, she is pretty slick!

You have more brains than all 3 of them on the "Witch Hunt Committee!"

Why is living outside the district such an issue? This America and can't we purchase a home where ever we please?

Not only have I read them, I know the man. You're just another who can't seem to understand this is nothing but a slap at him because he opposed the new $8 million dollar courthouse. Oh, but that's okay with you, eh?

Yes, I agree; I don't think Steve needs my help; And yes, I will have a bumper sticker that reads, "Boer instead of [you fill in the rhyme!]"
