I agree with you. I think he should read up a bit on St Francis of Assisi - I'm not even Catholic and I know about him. To destroy and torture one of God's beautiful creatures just for the joy of it is really an abomination. It doesn't matter what kind of animal. Especially an animal that's been domesticated by humans and learned to trust us. I'm not just saying that because I'm a cat lover - I was enraged about the yard full of dead animals in Montcalm County too recently. No one has the right to abuse and defile any living thing this way.

If someone hurts a child, Meow Mix in no uncertain terms blames the parents or custodian. Many times, rightly so.

But is it not then the responsibility of the cat custodian to keep a cat safe and free from harm?

Well it is if they want to put animals and people on the same pedestal or under the same unbrella as "a living creature". Anything less is hypocritical.

Just by looking at this woman it's obviously that she has some mental health issues. Those who torture animals usually torture children and other adults in the future. I hope she gets the help she needs, however it's truly sad how this animal had to die!
