Jail for woman who tortured roommate's cat

Sorry for the cat but I can't believe the huge response to this. People are more outraged about this than news of murder and child abuse. When did the life of animals mean more than human life. Yes her punishment was lenient but it's a first offense, she doesn't deserve life in prison (lets keep this in perspective). She needs serious counseling and monitoring in the community.

all i can hope is she has a blanket party waiting for her when she gets there. let there be no mercy for a heinous crime like this.

May there be many cat lovers in the jail she is sent to. What a waste of tax dollars on this piece of garbage.

I have plenty of sympathy for cats and children. I just don't have any sympathy for cat people who don't watch their cats and keep them safe.

I'm outraged by both and express it in my posts. There seems to be people that will attack for not having sympathy for the parents or abusers. There are crazies on every thread about abuse - child or animals. I don't think we should have to choose - it's all appalling to me. NO ABUSE IS ACCEPTABLE.

She reminds me of someone who had a daddy or step daddy that liked his stuff young. Serial killers (animal or people), and that's what she is, are created.
