Per capita Indiana now has about 5 times as much child abuse and neglect as it did in 1970. At the same time inflation adjusted spending on CPS/DCS has increased about 6 times. I guess we can look forward to more abuse and neglect of children now. These additional workers may now give more young girls the opportunity to go to the United Methodist Children's Home in Lebanon to get some sexual experience with adults working there.

We have one of the best, but we give mothers back their children and the end result is death of the child/children. If we have one of the best, I would really hate to see the stats on the worst.

Anyone that loses their child in the first place does not deserve to get that child back and they should not be allowed to have more children and if they do, then that child needs to be placed in protective care!!! I hope the new case workers have the tools to do their job effectively and the support they need to be competent.

Yeah, it's great that they hired all these new caseworkers - too bad they don't have a clue as to what they're doing.

I am aware of people who have had their children taken away and it was later found out that the caseworker/DCS was COMPLETELY MISTAKEN! I even saw a recent report on this on another local network. But that's ok, because according to you those people have no right to their children. Too bad for them.

Any way to verify the Guv's election year statements of which this is one?
