Isn't this rather barbaric? I thought we were a civilized nation. What ever happened to forgive and forget. This country has no morals!

Forgive and forget a murderer? What if this was your mother or father that was killed, would you want to forgive and forget? He deserves to die.

Why do cop killers get priority on death sentences?

What about the rest of the innocent folks who get murdered and their killers get off easy?

Ok, we can give him a second chance but he gets to come live with your family and you have to feed, house, clothe and provide him a cell phone, Internet access and cable TV while he gets back on his feet.

Write the govenor NOW and start making your appeal. You could save his life and make millions on the book deal and the following made for TV movie.

hey jose, what's the problem did you kill someone, that you want to give this guy a life, since he didn't give his victim a life, or is it your brother, who you don't want to see die, or cousin, uncles, must be some relation

Tia, learn how to write.
The police officer is a representative of the law, therefore it is a stiffer penalty.

Death penalty should mean just that. Instead, we feed, clothe and medically treat people that otherwse have no respect for same. Seems like a nice way to balance a budget by following through with what the sentence is supposed to be eh?

The only issue i have with this is it seems they are just doing it cause he killed a cop. Cops are not better than any other citizen. Fry all of the scumbag murderers.

This is a difficult decision for the governor to do. the only one who has the right to take your life is God. if i was the governor i dont sign that order in respect of God. Hope and pray they remove that law in peensylvania. peace

I was not selected to be part of a jury that involving a murder case in Reading that would possibly seek the death sentence because I said the same thing. I am not against the death penalty, I just do not feel as if it is my decision to make. There are a number of blood thirsty souls out there looking to wipe "these people" from the face of the earth so I figured they got what they were looking for.
