My name is Mike Ference and I have been investigating clergy abuse, primarily in the Pittsburgh Diocese, for over 21 years; just a few months shy of Barbara Blaine and SNAP. Pittsburgh is the next stop on the runaway train I call the DSF (dysfunctional sex freaks). To begin to understand how clergy abuse thrives within the catholic church google rector, clergy abuse.

A rector is the advisor or leader to seminarians studying for the priesthood. This is a key position and one of high influence in the road to becoming a priest. By googling rector and clergy abuse you will begin to notice how many former rectors are also at the heart of clegy abuse.

Many rectors are in factor former or current predators of past and current seminarians. It's an ongoing problem in the catholic church now predominantly made up of grown men willing, able and sadly, encouraged to sexually abuse within their own ranks.

Donald Wuerl served under John Wright for over 10 years. Wuerl was also a vice rector and rector at St. Paul's Semianry in Pittsburgh. According to investigative reporter and catholic church scholar, Randy Engel, Wright was a sexual predator, Wuerl actually closely resembled one of Wright's victims.

And, so the scandal contnues to unfold.

P.S. Before St. Paul's Seminary was a seminary it was an orphanage run by the catholic church. I've talked to a woman who was abused at the institution. Before it was an orphanage, it as a civil war prison.

The futility of expecting this religious institution, or any religious institution for that matter, to do the right thing when their own power and authority are in jeopardy is as obvious as the nose on your face.
This is the second grand jury investigations in less than six years. In the name of God, how much more evidence or time do people need to react to this?
Where is the outrage?
The record shows that Christ's mandate to "protect the least of the Lord's little ones," was abandoned years ago.

The outrage is hiding under a rug in the catholic church along with the pediophile priest. catholics don't want to claim this because they view priest at GOD.

"The protection of children is paramount." This was said by Cardinal Rigali. Then why were these 21 so called Priests left in the ministry? I was raised Catholic but this really stinks and I think this so called Cardinal should also be sent packing.

You need to re-program your thinking then...being raised catholic is not that good.

To the earlier post, the answer is that Rome is NOT God's Church. The system of Rome with its priestcraft and "infallible" Pope is unscriptural. Where in the Bible was Mary or any of the saints ever worshipped? Where are you told in the Bible to pray to Mary or the "saints"? Where do you find in scripture the celibacy of the clergy, limbo, purgatory, pilgrimages, holy images, prayers for the dead, extreme unction, and a whole host of other Roman inventions? Where is the rosary in the Bible? Or the Confessional? The Bible way of salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. You can only get to heaven by Christ's work not your own works. As for the forgiveness of sins, no priest can forgive his own sins let alone those of his parishioners. What saddens me is that many folks will continue to cling to that false system, no matter how much sexual corruption is perpetrated or covered up. I say, do not look for salvation in a Church - however good (or bad)- look to God for salvation.

Catholics do read the bible. The Douay-Rheims Catholic Bible is the bible most traditional Catholics read. I am training for third order Franciscan and we study the bible as part of our training too. Catholics do not worship Mary or the saints..

The Rosary is in the bible "Hail Mary full of grace..."

We go to church to strengthen our relationship with God and assist at the holy Sacrifice of the Mass and receive the Sacraments.

God forgives us our sins. The priest is there to encourage us to sin no more and give us penance and absolution.

It is a sin to God to be silent or indifferent to sin.

That is the problem with vatican II. It seems that most vatican I parishioners show more compassion for the pedophile priests then the victims. For many years vatican II has trained their clergy to inform parishioners and catholic police officials that the victims are money hungry liars accusing these poor priests who are going to shrinks to get help and that we need to forgive them.

However, during the same time vatican II was showing compassion and forgiveness to pedophile priests, vatican II was excommunicating priests who left to become independent Catholics (Bishop Lefebre) inorder to restore the true Latin Mass (Trent)

Vatican II is not the Catholic Church...it is an invalid Protestant service which was created by many lukewarm including a freemason and 6 Protestant ministers. It has been said: said "Destroy the Mass, destroy the Church."

The true Catholic church and its parishioners would be outraged by these heinous crimes and sins including sexual abuse, gluttony, greed, stealing, heresy etc. To be silent or indifferent to sin is a sin against God and the true teachings of the Catholic Church.

I love God, Our Blessed Mother and the true traditional teachings of the Catholic Faith. I love assisting at the Holy sacrifice of the Mass and receiving the Holy Sacraments. I love kneeling beside my husband when I receive Christ during Communion. I love our traditional Independent Chapel.

I am a victim of sexual abuse and I won't let him or anyone chase me away from God, Our Blessed Mother and the true Catholic Faith.

Traditional Catholics are outraged and disgusted www.traditio.com
I am outraged at everybody ....

Many from south Jersey are wondering why the media hasn't contacted New Order Bishop Galante who was back in 2002 spokesperson for the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops.

The Camden Diocese claims that the closures and mergers of Catholic churches and schools are from "change of geography" and "priest" shortages. When are they going to reveal the details of lawsuits that are on file in TRenton, NJ? How many pedophile priests were paid off for their silence and still receive their pensions and medical benefits. I also see these bishops and cardinals that cover up and even Rome were accomplices.

These convicted pedophile priests past (60's, 70's and 80's, 90's) and present should file with police departments under megan's law no matter where they live.

While Vatican II was excommunicating priests, bishops like Lefebre for disobedience for ordaining a replacement instead of Rome at the same time pedophile priests were allowed to remain as priests going to shrinks and were treated with "forgiveness" and compassion and were transferred to other parishes where they sexual abused innocents over and over...

It's a big sin if you are a traditional Catholic or traditional Catholic priest and yet it is ok to be a pedophile priest....

I think the point is that these molesters and almost all of the bishops cannot possibly believe in God.

Just as I thought...a catholic man made up bible to support catholic lies. There is only one true bible and that is the KJB....others are imposters. The rosary is not in the bible. That word does not appear anywhere in the bible. A priest can NOT save you from sin. Where does it say in the bible that a priest gives penance and absolution. Catholic man made up words.

Those of the likes of SNAP, Glorybe, Ference, Turlish, City of Angels and the rest of the money mongers are just that. That put the names out of young innocent children for their own purpose. They give a damn about the children

They are hate mongers as well as money mongers.

They are the ones that should burn in hell for what they do in the name of the innocent children
