That's a reason why students aren't allowed their cell phones in class. People ruin lots of things for others

first of all why does a 15 yr old have a cell phone and second of all I see he is already starting the life of a pervert,so they should lock him up and get him off of the streets now before he turns into an adult and causes more problems

I think we always go the extreme on every topic...locked up is dramatic. 15 years of age for a cell not wrong. Taking pics of women...perv..YES! What to do? Have his parents give him an old fashion beaten, but that is abuse. Ok but your hands as a parent are tied. So suggest something. Don't waste tax payer money on some 15 year wacko!

Although cell phones should be put away in purses or backpacks and not permitted to distract from education, in this unfortunate era of school violence,
kids should have cell phones. If there were an emergency situation on school grounds or even elsewhere, such as the school bus driver several years ago in the Boyertown area who had rifles aboard his bus and "kidnapped" a bus full of kids and drove them to Washington D.C. instead of taking them home, it can only be a good thing if the kids are equipped to be able to call for help.
Phones are not bad and do not need to be punished, nor should kids be put at risk by being denied access to them; people like this young man behave badly and should be punished for their bad behavior.

I agree with Reality Check. Also, so this incident dont happen again, kids should be able to have cell phones for the purpose of something bad happening but just have a phone that dont allow media or video on the phone just a plan jane so that you can make and recieve calls kids dont know need anything fancy!

Not saying the boy isn't responsible for these actions but lets face it mose of the girls these days in high school put themselves out there to be seen. the wasy they dress and act. whos to say that these girls didn't aloow this to happen but then later turned on the boy who took the pictures. as a parent of 3 girls i would never let my children dress nor act the way these teens do now. As far as emmause high there policies need to improve on some of there policies. when i was a student there more than 1/4 of the freshman females became pregnant before sophmore year. lets get with the program people.

Not all girls today dress the way you describe. Even so, guys need to learn to control themselves if the situation arrises. And teen pregnancy has decresed significantly at our school. I only know of one student being pregnant last year and two the year before. Emmaus high school policies are very good. I'd have to say if things get stricter it becomes ridiculous. Kids at our school actually aren't as bad as you make them seem to be. Unfortunately there are students like this one that just make our entire student population look bad when most of the kids i know of follow the rules and are genuinely good kids.

When I was at Emmaus we had dress codes. This would not have happened. I think that while at school the cell phone should have to stay in the locker. I also agree that kids do not need to have phones with picture or video capability. This is just asking for things like this to happen.

We are raising a generation of sex offenders. They have access to the internet and look at pornography, they are sexting, they are accessing the internet on their cell phones. There is NEVER a good reason to be sending a naked picture of someone on your cell phone. They are not getting in trouble for these incidents, wait until they get to college! It's ten times worse there, even Christian colleges. Shame on us for not doing something about it!

It's the society we live in. There are no taboos anymore.
I think it will get worse before it gets better.

Dear Spinnerstown Emmaus Alumni- First, you need to get your facts and grammar straight. One who graduated is an alumnus, many are alumni. Obviously you have been out of the school for a while, because the females in the freshman class do not have a 25% pregnancy rate, young women in High School do not ask for delinquents to take inappropriate pictures and then revoke their permission, and teachers certainly do not dress provacatively in order to gain attention from a 15 year old low-life. As a parent of 3 Emmaus High School students, I am active in the school community and know for a fact that the majority of the students are respectable and not interested in lewd acts. Perhaps you should "get with the program" prior to your 3 girls reaching high school age. Not every girl "dresses to be seen" as you seem to think.

This kid didn't act alone. He must have had help from his 'buddies' in order to not be seen taking pics/videos.

And it's not the girls style of dress that's the problem, it's the perp who has the problem. The article states he recorded teachers too. I doubt the teachers style of dress is 'asking for it'.

No girl at the High School will want to have anything to do with him. And I bet a few of their boyfriends might want to have 'a talk' with him.

Yeah, and the little bugger probably charged his buddies to look at the photos. Wouldn't surprise me a bit.

Again it seems a guy wanting to make the fault for this teen's behavior fall back on the way a girl dresses. I don't always approve of my granddaughters' outfits, but that does not give a boy carte blanche to take lewd pictures. I also do not approve of kids having phones in school---all the bleeding hearts who say they need them for emergency situations, are just caving into pressure from their kids. If something happens at school, why can't they go to their teacher or principal to call home? This is what we did when we were kids (I know in the dark ages!). Citing incidents that happen once in a million don't justify the need for phones. The need for calling for emergency purposes would come from kids walking and texting and not watching where they are walking.

One of this pervert's videos was recommended in the "Videos near you" caption on Youtube.(It shows videos that take place near your home town.) I clicked it and was disgusted. This kid was asking to get caught. I typed his user name into google and found out that was his user name for the school itself. Glad he was finally caught.
