Denny why is it people of Benicia think they are better than vallejo? if you look hard enough your town has the same problems Valejo Has does urban ganster ring a bell. Vallejo is just more open with its problems I talk from experience grew up in Vallejo and ran the streets we had people coming from Benicia to Vallejo to get drugs and cause problems also

Plato, I doubt if the kids of Benicia are the root of your problems in Vallejo. The problem in Benicia can be summed up by this phrase, You can take the kid out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of the kid.

[It was NOT a rap concert. It was a birthday party where they probably played some rap music. The kids giving the party did pretty much make it an open invite maybe unintentionally. Hindsight is wonderful. It was just an ill-fated night. I think the family thought it would be a fun event and it was. Kids drink anywhere they go. Sneaked out to their cars. I know the family were not happy about that and shut the party down when it got out of hand. I think history shows it is not a good idea to have a big teenage party in Benicia. My daughter was at the party so this is not just conjecture.

Just to make it clear, I live in Benicia. I picked my daughter and friends up from the party and saw the ambulance going to get the victim. Very scary for all parents. The kids heard the shots but were not sure that was what is was.

It was completely naive and irresponsible for the hosts of this party to make it an open invitation. This is what happens when word gets out on the internet. We in Benicia do have problems, but the big ones come from out of towners coming in and dragging their ghetto culture and mentality with them.
