I think its time to start sending these black and mexicans all over to Iraq if they think they are so good with these guns they try and tote around. lets just say that they are free to go after a 1 year duty walking the sand trails of Iraq. Seems like the best thing to do. I think this should be the new way to clear out the jail systems and get them off our streets.

You're just kidding, right? I mean, I think it would be great to find a noble cause, vocation, or purpose for these modern day gunslingers, but I thought only highly skilled, highly trained men and women who WANT to serve comprise our armed forces.

So, if not active military duty, there must be something else they could do to benefit society (and themselves) instead of just being locked up with 3 squares, morning calisthenics, and afternoon recess.

Maybe your onto something, Mr. Realistic, or maybe I should call myself Mrs. Living-in-a-fantasy-world.

I've lived around here my entire life and have seen the quality of the area go downhill. All I am saying is that it's time to move out of the area and California. My apologies if I was not clear, the prior post was not for you. I know California is going in the toilet, but to be PC I must keep those other comments to myself, lest someone shoot me. It (this state) is in a decline, and it's getting darker all the time, all different shades. If you go to another state it's best to not to talk about all the things you had in California, they don't care. I hear all the time from my out of the area people about the damned Californian's, and have been told no one wants to hear about Mother Oakland, how many cars you owned, blah, blah, blah. IF none of that applies, then yay for you!

What happened to the mandatory draft we used to have? Or what was it called when people were given the option to go to jail or the military? I know we had it because a I've heard more than one person say that is how they ended up a Marine.As far as highly skilled, highly trained men and momen in the Armed Forces-it's just like any other job-there are bad people there too. Shoot, watch Gangland, and theres an episode about gangs in the military. If the people weren't in one before the military, some of them take their military skills when they get out to the gang.It's looking like a no win situation.
