Why would anybody be released to their mother for a felony. Lock his useless worthless butt up, stick him in an orange jumpsuit that says "Felon" on the back and let him clean up his and all other spray paint in the city. When it is all gone then release on $500000 bail.

Right on, Extreme. 33 cans of spray paint in six backpacks, about 20 permanent markers, latex gloves and several books with graffiti drawn on the pages found in the Jeep. 16 incidents in the past 7 weeks -- these boys have alot of cleaning up to do and need to be taught a hard lesson. Obviously the parents aren't doing the job. What is a14 year old doing wandering around at 1:14 a.m. anyways?? I would say they should be assigned weekend graffiti clean-up duty for at least a year.

So who wants to lay a wager on how long these guys get in jail? How much you want to bet that they get told what they did was wrong and dont do it again? They Did not run a stop light, so they wont spend the normal 48 hours in the pen as the Solano DA would have for that crime, but he will just slap the handsa of these two and in a couple weeks the walls will start back up with taggs everywere. So here is my $100 bet who else is in?

What is a 14 year old doing with 20 year old at 2 a.m.? Nice investment in the arts, I wonder where they got the $$ for all those 'supplies'.

Mommy should be made to pay for clean-up and court costs. Need to set an example here.

Why was this guy let go to his mom?! Someone needs to have this question answered from the Police department. WHY? By posting that all this kid got was a ride home to mom does nothing to stop the next kid from doing it. They read that they got a free ride home at 2 AM in the morning and then that is it. The police need to be held responsible for anymore graffiti. To put these guys back on the street with now a felony is STUPID and someone from the top down needs to explain this reason!

I see more and more of it popping up in the county also and on street signs. The cost of replacing the signs is not cheap and the cost to the business owners isn't either. We need to crack down on these people and yes MOMMY needs to be out there cleaning up right next to her lovely son!!!

SOMEONE PLEASE CALL "CPS" on this mom and maybe then her son will be taking into the foster care system and then he can land in a home that has zero tolerance and they can knock the **** out of this kid and if he is still alive after that then give him a scrub rag and a bucket and put his A%% to work cleaning up the ****.

this works for me, kids today,(i mean little ****) are damn ingrates and greedy little trolls. this one has the makings of a damn fine felon and i know i am going to end up spending tons of my hard earned tax dollars to coddle him, for him to talk about his "feelings", to give him three squares a day and somewhere to rest his lazy ****. to but then lets also put mommy away for a while for abandonment and negligence. THEN, she goes out to the freeway for trash detail. if i see one frickin' blade of grass that shouldn't be there...

God bless the neighbor who called the police. I hope the felony sticks and he gets 5 years in prison and if he is found to have committed similar crime to get 5 years for each of those as well. Grafitti is a huge problem in our fair little city and needs to be trated as the serious crime it is.

Well first of all what is a kid of 14yrs old doing out at that time of the morning, where are the parents? Secondly, as punishment make them clean it up and and any other graffiti around for 8hrs community service. And add a fine of some sort to cover the cost of materials used to clean it up and time wasted by our police, and court system for such a stupid thing.
