How bizarre ... she tells the cops her grandparents "needed help." Thank God those two dumb brats are hardly indicative of most MN teenagers.

What have we become as a society? Have we no moral compass? No ethics? No sense of right and wrong? I pity this young woman who seems to have no compassion, no anything! And I am appalled that people who act like this are among us.

These girls won't go to prison, Sarah D...come on. They'll be charged with stupidity in the end, do some community service and get probation for awhile. I live near cambridge, and while it pretty boring out here in the sticks, I've never so bored that I've thought of calling my family 45 times in one night to tell them they will die. Somehow, I think meth or booze will end up as the cause of this story.

Simply stupid. I hope these idiotic hateful people get the full measure of the law for terrorizing an old lady. Their fun, could have given the old lady a heart attack. How stupid have young people become in this country. Turn off twitter, mtv, the stupid reality shows and spend some time with your children so they dont grow up to be complete morons like these two, for God's sake.

Let's get a little convention together of those of us who no longer have our grandparents and invite her over. She was never there for us anyway, right? Little snot.

People, have some campassion. This young woman obviously has a mental condition that needs to be addressed. Her family and community should be rallying around her to give her the support she needs to get past this sad part of her life.

Where is this girls parents in all this? Had I done something like this to one of my grandparents, the police wouldn't have gotten to me in time because my mother would kicked the crap out of me. What in the H E L L was that girl thinking.

Here's the funny part. Most of the people posting on these boards are of the age to be parents to these kids. Look in the mirror!

This woman doesn't have a mental problem, nor do most idiots who commit crimes. Instead of addressing these issues with a touchy-feely 'she needs help' attitude, let's take a harder stance so that others see this kind of crap is not acceptable. This girl needs a slap upside the head, to be prosecuted for phone harassment and making threats, barred from contact with her grandmother, and sit her butt in jail - followed by a really crappy community service assignment. Someone else in this family needs to straighten this child out.

If this were my kid, he would retain the right to breathe...anything more would be an earned privilege. And I would fully support the prosecution of his actions.

What a stupid charge..."making terroristic threats" to apply to this situation.

Only real thing to do here is cut off her fingers so she can never dial again, cut her vocal cords so she can never threaten again, cut out her eyes so she can never see " older" again and have implants in her ears so she can only hear 24/7 death threats and nothing else. Having said that I wish her a nice day after the above action is completed. Oh yea she can be a poster grandchild then too.

This lady should have the booked thrown at her. We do not need to put up with this kind of behavior from obviously troubled people. There is no right to harass and a felony count is not a bad idea as this is the kind of person who only gets the idea if she gets hit over the head with it. My only other suggestion would be to publish her name, face and address so that the average citizen can exercise their rights and express what they think of this worthless piece of cr*p.

Would you have so much "compassion" if this useless waste of human skin had called YOUR home 45 times in one day, threatening to kill you and/or your family? I doubt it. These two need to be locked up for a long time; it will give them plenty of time to contemplate their "boredom."

Come on. Compassion? I am so tired of this being the go to response whenever anyone does something stupid/hurtful/illegal (pick your word) today. Everytime someone does something wrong, it's not their fault, they are sick, blah blah blah. How about just plain stupid? Drunk? Irresponsible? Evil? Disrespectful? If this were my child, I would completely support any punishment the law meted out.
