Could the Minnesota Vikings turn to Michael Vick?

Now that Brett Favre isn't an option at quarterback, will the Minnesota Vikings pursue Michael Vick? Vikings coach Brad Childress will have the most significant say in that decision.

it was only a matter of time before Vick was mentioned. I can't see Chilly diving into those waters, but he drafted Percy Harvin with his character "issues" and surprised me once. Who knows. This season is already starting out weird, why not make it weirder?

I think the Vikes should try to get Vick. The QB's they now have on staff cannot take them to the "bowl". With Vick, at least they wolud have a chance.

Golly day camp hasnt even started yet and I feel like Ive gone through another Viking season already. Michael Vick actually would be and could be a franchise QB. He would squash his critics and bashers locally with the 1st big beatdown the Vikes had with him at the helm. And who would care about the other teams rabid fans as long as the cheeks are in the seats$$$$$$$$$$$$.

the entire Viking QB situation has become the laughing stock of the NFL. One has to wonder if Favre did this entire thing to stick it to the Vikings one last time before retirement. The QB situation has catapulted Childress to the list of laughables withing the Vikes organization, right up there with the love boat scandle, the original wizinator and many others.... good grief.

To say Vick is horrible is the equivalent of saying he's one of the greatest. It's probably even dumber. He led the Falcons to the playoffs twice including a conference championship.

Aside from all the baggage Vick brings, isn't he more of a run first, pass second kind of player? Dynamic yes, but more of a college style.
