What if the Packers just aren't very good?

Well Well what happen to the so called experts on ESPN and sports guru saying GB is going to the SB or the NFC championship.. Well all these people are just Viking Haters... I said it Viking Haters.. Espn can't stand us and thats why the kept on making Rumors up about Favre and the Vikes... Just like Goddell they can not stand the Vikes and are just Packer lovers... Sorry Packer Fans have fun being 3rd in the division...

Early in the season, remarks being made about your team that are so unique as to be creating league-wide interest, is not a good thing. When journeyman defensive ends have games so outstanding against your team that they break records, and the one-on-one matchups are described as being "physically manhandled," that's a red flag. I read the Sports Illustrated magazine with Adrian Peterson on the front cover and they said that normally a dominant performance put up by Antwan Odom of the Bears would merit Defensive Player of the Week just on the 4 sacks and 4 pressures alone. However, they said they couldn't do it out of fair mindedness because he had never put up numbers like that in his many year career, and conversation they had with the coaches and preseason play alike didn't show that he had anything special this year over years past.

Last year I felt the same way when announcers would refer to opposing defenses' strategy to the vikings running game as "9 men in the box." Eight men in the box, we've all heard of that, and we all know it is a very high risk, maybe even desperate strategy. However, when your team is the only team in the NFL, past or present, where this is the #1 defensive strategy of opposing teams on first and second down, you realize there is a serious, serious deficiency on your team that will come to play at some point down the road, negating any real shot you may have for a playoff run, winning record or meaningful season

You're going to have your Joe Theismann's out there that just hate the vikes, no matter what... but i have to agree that all the moronic talking heads on espn and fox sports predicting the packers to make the super bowl are looking very foolish right now. A lot of us have been on these blogs ever since the draft was over predicting the packers to have another sucky 6-10 type season, due to the fact that they didn't bring in ANYONE to improve the squad from last year, and then Dom Capers changes to a 3-4 defense on top of it. What did they expect, that a stellar preseason where teams don't game plan at all was going to translate into the reg. season??? We've been saying all along that the Packers still suck, it's just that now that our predictions are coming true, these r-tards are throwing it out there like it's groundbreaking news. In reality, who the hell DIDN'T see this coming???

The Bears are another non-concern. Ask yourself how many of their aging defensive starters will be on the injury reserve by week 8.

As soon as those sports IDIOTS at ESPN and SI predicted the Packers to win the division and get to the Superbowl based on the pre-season I wrote that the Packers were the ONLY team in pre-season to gameplan.

The farthest west some of these east coast loving sportswriters get is Green Bay. And for whatever eason they now all hate Favre because he goes into and out of retirement every other week.

WHO CARES if he does? He's playing great football for a great team. You would think they would be eating this up with story lines and such. But the writers just will not give up their strange hatred for him. And instead of hating on him directly they pile the love onto his old team.

When trhe season is ended I would not be surprised if the Packers are at the most 3rd in the division.

I don't think much of the so-called sports experts. However, before you Viking fans start to rip them, you may want to keep in mind that some of them predicted the Vikings to be Super Bowl contenders.

For those that think that some experts picked the Packers because of an anti-Viking conspiracy, you people need to put on your tinfoil hats and hide in your closets. It won't help you, but it will keep you away from us sane people and help us identify you if you don't.
