This set of parents should spend life in prison for their stupidity alone. They didn't know their kids would go on a destructive spree? Yea right. Throw away the key.

I like how the Mrs wanted the neighbors to collaborate with her cover-up. Sometimes I am so glad I don't live in the far 'burbs. People around here only steal vans with guns from post office parking lots.

This time we really can blame the parents for there kids.

Like I said before some people are alive simply because it's against the law to kill them.

I agree...Way to go Mom and Dad..I'm sure this will be very usefull to your kids in the future...

The Pioneer Press shows us all the nuts in Minnesota nice. I hope they dont just slap there hands and tell them no more. These nutty parents should be put in jail for awhile. To the nutty kids..Wake up and go to school and learn something. Be respectful of others and get a job. looks like you all have too much time on your hands. Dumb kids..Dumb parents.

Hang on here a moment...The me, me, and more me society we have now in USA has instilled in the heads of the parents and kids that this is a free country ( as if no other country is ) and we can do what ever we want to. Freedom to travel, vote ( for only two real parties ), live as far from work as we want to, freedom of speech, freedom of carrying loaded guns and freedom to be dumb and do dumb things. We need to teach that if you travel where ever you want to you just might be trespassing and could get hurt, we need to teach that freedom to vote would mean choice of four or five major parties, freedom of living 50 miles from work you must have a car that gets 50 mpg or take a train, freedom of speech means that if you say you want to hurt somebody or kill somebody you might be arrested,...I think you got the idea.
So when we say " Thous shall not make bombs " we as society have left a huge void where many fall into.
Maybe we start out with here is what you can do, must do... If no permission to do so and so then it is wrong, illegal and you will be punished.

Take these parents and zapp them with a few volts, get their attention try to retain them if it does not work off to a labor camp in far away North Alaska. As for the kids all five of them, same thing. Zapp them too.

I especially liked when mom and dad said they didn't want anyone else "parenting their child". Best way to prevent that is to DO SOME PARENTING yourself. Pipe bombs...Geez...And I won't let my kid use the oven yet. I gotta catch up.

I don't know if I have ever heard anything more stupid in my life come out of a person's mouth. I am not only dumbfounded, but may have just lost a little faith in humanity. I can't believe there are parents out here that think like this. And what is scarier, they had friends that were going along with them. Yikes!

The parents here sound curiously similar to the arguments that many on the Right make when they say that they do not want the government to meddle in their private family affairs. Schools are only for reading, writing, and arithmetic.

See what happens when the parenting is left only to the parents?

This is why we need government intervention at an early age - to prevent parents like this from having an influence on their children. Only then will we have a peaceful and loving society.
