President Clinton could have had a cigar factory in the Dominican Republic named for him.

That was so 1990's. Actually it's a good joke, but a bit overdone. This newest proposal made me chuckle. How appropriate!

I always knew President Bush was the ****!!

=)

That is something I would expect from San Francisco... remember when they made that huge stink over the Marines Recruiting Office. San Franciscoans are an embarrassment to the American People!!

Really a stupid move by some city leaders.

Don't you have anything better to do with your time?

On the contrary, I'm proud of them - they don't buy into his ****.

We've become a cartoon nation. The stupid leaders of this charade have no class and the followers have no brains. Why....it must be San Francisco.

GW will be a president known as someone who acted.

Congress supported the Iraq action!

GW funded AIDS health care for Africa, something Bill Clinton admitted he missed.

GW will live in a "green" house utilizing geo thermal, Al Gore on the other hand lives in a fossil fuel HOG.

GW faced with 911 responded with effective action preventing additional attacks on the US!

The Iraq action is turning into a victory and we will soon have a VI day, that would be Victory in Iraq! Americans will be able to feel good about turning a dictator lead Iraq into a democracy.

For San Fran to take this action is rather silly, but what would you expect from San Fran.

I think Clint has been spending a little too much time at the George W Bush Sewage Plant. Me thinks the fumes have gotten to his brain...

Aw, don't take it so personally, Tom. You know, the sewage plant workers are every bit as American as the rest of us. They work hard and do a great public service. Why not name the plant after a president? And remember, just because a committee in a city names a building this or that, doesn't mean the entire town hates America.

I'm proof that it's possible to feel one way about an elected leader and quite another way about my beloved country. I love America, I do not love Bush.

Whether you like Bush or not, the lack of respect shown for the Presidential office is unbelievable. Let the ignorant fools of San Fran have their fun while the adults in the country laugh at them. A bar joke has no business on the ballot and is a waste of tax payer dollars. Typical liberal behavior, incite, attack, insult anyone which disagrees.
FYI... I know of a certain bridge in Chappaquiddick that can be named after Ted Kennedy!
One would think San Fran would have better things to do... Like worry about their illegal aliens or panhandlers!

Sure. We all know that you guys who actually amuse yourselves about naming sewers are among the great stinkers of our time. Oops. I mean great thinkers, of course.

Naming a sewage treatment plant after Bush is an insult to sewage and the workers that work in the plant.

By every metric imaginable, GWB has not even lived up to his "C" student past that he is so proud of. At least the sewage treatment plant serves a purpose. It works.

Well OK, aren't YOU special, precious...but hardly responsive to his points.
Typical flip liberal comeback. Just passive-agressive, run-away stuff...no substance (other than what's up you nose or in your arm.)

Typical liberal action. Make a filthy mess and then name a republican to clean it up. So Jimmy Carterish. God, liberals are fun !
