I know you were making a funny, but I was serious.
Reducing the law Enforcement industry by 3/4 YESSSSS.
The Military Budget wass about 16% of the Federal Budget in 2007.
So that leave the Feds with 9% for all thier Social Engineering Programs.
Sounds good to me.
I can see what my city and school
district taxes do. But as taxes get
farther away- county, state and especially Federal, I really wonder
where it goes.
The last I heard, we don't get $1
of services back for every $1 we send to Washington. For Minnesota,
I don't think its even close to
$1 sent for a $1 return. ARC might
know. Who was it that had the Golden Fleece award?

The person committing the fraud should go to jail. Funny though...Wall Street can bilk the tax payer for 700 billion, and the house republicans want to give them a tax cut.

The story said he made up 1 phoney person 6 years ago and he stole 1 million dollars that would mean that each welfare person gets 160,000. dollars a year. Please tell me this is not what they get

This is a laugh. That's not all the fraud that happens at DHS. You cannot believe how many parents have told me that their adult child lives in a group home and workers don't even show up for work. The same thing happens with personal care attendants. But of course the workers and provider agencies still get paid.

This state is headed downhill. Our taxes go up and up, our cities and communities are turning into ghettos thanks to state social services freebies, people in govt positions are defrauding, freeway bridges fall down, essential local services elimanted, the public school districts cry the blues for increased funding every season, anything else?
If more government is the solution, why do problems seem to increase the more money taxpayers hand over to our state govt?
