They've been the People's Republican Party for 40 years, so I can't say it shocks me.

The GOP always did like a dictator as long as they didn't cross the US. Saddam used to be a GOP buddy.

So why did he quit? None of the others quit because of immoral behavior.

All you folks saying this is somehow "typical of the GOP" or something similar obviously failed to even read the article, in which it mentions the pro-Myanmar-junta PR campaign was IN OPPOSITION TO the Bush administration's characterization of the regime! So please, I beg you, if you are going to support the left, at least read the articles you comment on before spouting your anti-GOP garbage (and how this article has anything to do with the GOP's links to Judaism, or why that's a criticism, is even more baffling, Jobu)

Lobbiests, lawyers and public relations firms of all political persuations represent clients.

Do you think maybe any elected officials ever worked for law firms that represented guilty clients?

Should they all resign?

(Maybe they should, but not because of that)

If you reference all of the comments that Jobu made; it is pretty clear that he meant Giuliani, not Jewliani. It really is ok to think and read at the same time Josh.

This is just another reason why John McCain and his cronnies should be given the boot in November---everytime a GOP rock is turned over, it seems like another vermin slithers out. Its time for American to take back this nation!

Oh, right. I get the letters GIU confused with JEW all the time. I'm sure there was nothing significant about that little spelling deal. It could also have been a typo, since JEW are right next to GIU on my keyboard. Oh, wait, they aren't. Take a look at your keyboard. Yes, that's right, look down... there, see the "J," "E," and "W" keys? OK. Now, note the difference in both location of the keys and in the shape of the letters between those and "J," "E," and "W." I'm sorry I need to take you back to kindergarten, but apparently you did not learn your alphabet well.

In other words, it's quite clear "JEWliani" was a very intentional misspelling of "GIUliani," and so I have every right to ask "jobu" what he intended by that comment.
