Did Bush invade Iraq in your world? Probably not, because in the real world, that turned out to be a horrific blunder that gave terrorists a complete training course on "how to competely embarrass the U.S. Military", lead to huge recruitment numbers, increased Iran's power in the region, and sapped our already flagging credibility in the Middle East. Bummer. Guess that didn't happen in your world?

Other than the climate part of your post, this is one of the most straight to the point posts about how terrorism has grown and NOT been controlled or eliminated. Most of the Bush lovers think we back terrorists and don't want to succeed on the war on terror and that's where they're WRONG. I would suspect both sides (Dems. & Reps.)want this worldwide terror network controlled or ultimately destroyed (doubtful). It's unfortunate, but we have fallen into OBL's trap. We have made Al-Qaida and the rest of those lunitics more powerful than ever and yes, it has embarassed our military thanks to our commander in chief. There's nothing more to say about that. Good post pb

Oh yes, the tax cuts.. unfortunately under Boy George, the Social Security threshhold has increased to the $97,500 income level, so only after that is reached does an American escape from paying for the Ponzi Scheme.
So that wipes out a good portion of the ``tax cuts'' but I wouldn't expect Boy George's Boys to be able to keep track of two things at once.

Terrorism has grown at the same rate after we invaded Iraq as it had before we invaded Iraq. It reached its crescendo on September 11th, 2001. Boy did it grow like a mutha phucker on THAT day. As far as "our credibility in the middle east goes", ask me if I give a rat's **** over what those slimebags think of us. This is very simple. I'm surprised that so many are not getting it. It's kill or be killed. It's a REAL war, not some contrived fantasyland reality show. There really are lots of people who would blow you up with your wife and kids just for the he11 of it. Wake up.
I'll ignore the silly scare tactics. The truth of the matter is, the war in Iraq has created more terrorists......Sorry

Links from liberal websites mean nothing to me. I'm not trying to scare you. I'm trying to enlighten you. And these "new terrorists" we're "creating", I just hope that the ones we are killing are the more capable of the bunch.
How about a link from an ultra consevative website?

http://www.foxnews.com/wires/2007Apr30/0,4670...

The new terrorists that we are createing are much worse than the previous. They are now trained in battle. Iraq is the new training camp for Al-Queida(sic).

Wow, your world sounds great! Because in the real world, the tax "cuts" amounted to an average of $300 and were just an advance on the next year's bill, and terrorism has steadily increased worldwide since we invaded Iraq.

In the real world, climate change poses an even greater threat to economic stability than terrorism. Did they solve that in your world?
What other wonders do they have in your world? Flying cars? Dinosaurs that play chess? Talking dogs?

While I'm sure it surprises you, I don't do Fox links either. I get my news from a variety of sources and then form my own opinion. And regarding these "new terrorists", what you're claiming actually supports my view that a larger percentage of Muslims are either terrorists or inclined to go that way. More than any other religion, nationality or other grouping. Islam is a breeding ground for terror.
Yes, it does surprise me.

I recently heard a statistic that less than 1% of Muslims are radical enough to participate in terrorist activities. There is no doubt that there are terrorists, but I don't lose sleep at night worrying about them coming here. And the war in Iraq has nothing to do with that. I'll put it this way...I am sure that the VAST majority of priests in the Catholic church are good people, but you don't hear about them....You hear about the bad few. keep that in mind.

Are you truly unaware that the Social Security "ceiling" goes up every year, even before President Bush was elected in 2000? I won't provide a link for you because a 5 year old could Google that in less than a minute.
Yes, I know that. It's called inflation. The point you made is that it's been going up since the "beginning of time". The point everyone else is making is that if it went *down*, this crisis could be almost completely mitigated. It's not a matter of what happened before Bush, it's a matter of what he's not done to correct it.

You've ruled out news outlets on the left, center and right. Name me one news outlet that you do get your sources from. Because every single link that has ever been presented to you has been dismissed in favor of your "variety".

1% of 1.2 billion is 12 million Muslims "willing to participate" in terrorism. That's a BIG freakin number. I'd say there is a "Muslim problem".
12 million? There were far more than 12 million Americans in 2003 willing to support, at least in ideology, the terror bombing of an entire nation. You think there's a "Muslim Problem"? They've got concrete evidence that there's an "American Problem".

Yet, you automatically dismiss anything from a television news network. Yeah, I thought so. Your "variety" is "anything that you're not using to support your argument right now".

"My kids have lots of Muslim friends and they regularly sleep over at my house. My wife and I feed them, we talk to them, we encourage them to do something constructive with their lives."

Thank GOD the Christian world has you as our hope an ambassador to the Muslim world, and Muslim children who otherwise would be guided by their faith & family. Praise be to "TheNewFormatSux", perhaps I can come over and stay one night and you can feed me and guide me in my life.

Do you forget you are talking about human beings?

If you go back and reread post #151, you will see that I was replying to one of your comrades when I said that. Stop splitting hairs, you know where I'm coming from. Links in general are ignored by me A.) if they are from what I consider to be an unreputable or partisan site; or B.) the point of the link is to prove something I consider to be subjective. "Creating more terrorists" is VERY subjective in that the definition of a terrorist varies so greatly from person to person. "Creating" is also subjective. Would a terrorist we allegedly "created" have become one anyway at some point in time, perhaps after listening to a sermon given by Muhktadr al Sadr? I've seen George W. Bush called a terrorist here. I've seen the entire Catholic religion called terrorists by some people here. Subjective my friend, subjective. Is a terrorist someone who commits a violent act on random innocent victims? Finances such an act? Condones such an act? Derives pleasure from such an act? Wishes that he/she had the ba11s to commit such an act? Some or all of the above?
So with all that in mind, where do you come up with the credability for your statement "Terrorism has grown at the same rate after we invaded Iraq as it had before we invaded Iraq. It reached its crescendo on September 11th, 2001."?

Take your own advice. You haven't raised a valid point yet on any thread you've loitered on, and your answer to anyone elses is "while I have nothing to back it up, I'm declaring your information invalid". And when that doesn't work, you just resort to schoolyard insults. Of course, I've found this to be the standard debate tactics of willfully misinformed and unintelligent.
