Irresponsible pet owners (former), catering to the whims of their bratty children who lose all interest in the "gift" bestowed.

Par for the course in todays materialistic ****-hole we call Florida.

I kill iguanas whenever I get ahold of them.

Since they are non-native, you are allowed to humanely kill them. That is, you can shoot them [subject to local laws], drown them, or freeze them.

The city/county/state needs to get on this issue. These animals spread diseases such as salmonella and have a mouth full of teeth. They are edible when prepared properly, but they cannot be made into pets. They remain feral.

A large trap such as used for raccoons is perfect when baited with a ripe banana. An easy way to dispose of them is to lower the whole cage into a pond or canal; 40 minutes later = no more iguana!

how long til they are causing car accidents and a lot worse? when is the city going to do somehting about it???? wait til they find their way into your attics, roofs, screen rooms, chimneys, and more!! they are 6 foot long in this neighborhood already and they are coming in the dozens now, NO EXAGERATION!!

the city must stop this before they kill off everything else and have cause accidents, remember I said it when it happens, sorry to say, but it will!!

Here we go (again). Another tragic accident involving reptiles. When will we learn we need to get rid of the ROOT CAUSE of all the problems, and get rid of electricity. Why can't we learn from the omish and just live by candlelight?!

First of all from the sound of your post you are one of those kids who start with insects, moves to small animals then larger ones and then a few children. You enjoy killing for the sake of killing. You need help!!!!!

Iguanas do not spread any known disease and do not have any teeth. They only eat plants as they are herbivores. They do very little to upset our balance of nature in South Florida.
