What do you mean, see if Imus learned a lesson? Which lesson?
He's back on the air, isn't he? Isn't the lesson that he can get away with anything he wants to say and still not jeopoardize his career?
It remains to be seen whether he can command an audience, and therein lies the lesson, if there is one.

The lesson re-learned is that any publicity is good publicity. Ten million a year income Imus is having the last laugh on all the self-righteous, politically correct, racial policing professionals like Al Sharpton. Imus is back to collecting the big bucks for his on air blather. Do we all need to get a life, or what?

Stop apologizing and get on with life, dude. Poor Sharpton. I bet he wet his bed when he heard he went back to work.

I would like to thank Al Sharpton for getting the IMAN a multi-million parting gift from CBS as well as a new job. Like IMUS said on the air today he wants Al Sharpton in the fox hole with him. But Bernard said they wouldnt fit. You cant mess with the IMAN!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how many people who are outraged by Imus' return are the same ones scoffing at the "political correctness" in preventing Santa Claus from using the word that got Imus in trouble in the first place.

Here's what is interesting about the entire Imus incident, including all this hoopla about his return to the airways. It is proof that racism still exists in the US, because Imus and the Jackson/Sharpton duo are measured and treated by two entirely different standards.

We will know that we have the worst of racism behind us when Jackson and Sharpton are put into the same category as David Duke.

I've always found Imus to be boring, dry, mummified, and stupid looking with that cowgirl hat.

Can't see his appeal to anyone....

And therein lies the proof of your limited vocabulary, lack of imagination and inability to find the 'period' on the keyboard.
