I predict there will be the usual gangsta rappers with no more than 2nd grade literacy skills shooting others after the event party.

Just like Grammys, the Bet awards used to mean something special, but crack-cocaine winners like Amy Winehouse, no talents like Justin Timberlake, and rappers totally degraded the events.

This excuse and others along the same vein for why white people can't do certain things is so lame. If you want yet another channel that caters to White viewers, go start one... it's not like anyone will be outside with hoses, dogs, and nooses to deter you.

I liked the show it was good, now to address some of the comments posted:
mack the great: shut up!! you are making the black populous look extremely bad and even worse, you were extremely racist and used some serious stereotypical comments against the Asian race which i didn't find to be a good look on us.
Willie B: there's not a WET so to speak because there's already CBS, LOL, naw I'm playing, but seriously it's because you are the majority and in a democratic system the majority wins out, so they tried to make checks and balances so a BET for a minority looks like a way to help out even though i don't agree with a lot of the things they show, and think about it: most of the T.V shows and stations are targeted for the majority A.K.A the white populous so why exactly would you need one?
