I always look forward to reading Ben's sunday morning articles..Ben you have a wonderful ability to put hope where we sometimes don't see any...I'm so happy for the Murray family and especially for Sophia. To Michelle well...you're my hero.

What a great story and I am so happy that Sophie is home! I am guessing that Sophie did NOT have any collar or tags on when she was lost? I sure hope that her people will get her microchipped. One additional suggestion that I tell ALL of my adopters: Dogs lose collars and especially tags, so turn the collar inside out and write your phone number in permanent black marker..can't hurt and its one more way to get your dog back. I have noticed that many people here in NM do not put collars on their dogs..I don't know what I'd do without "dog handles."
