Another warrant filed in federal District Court asked for permission to search Diaz's car. Investigators found what looked to be fibers from Espinoza's clothing in the windshield of Diaz's car, and also noticed a paint transfer on his clothing during an autopsy, the warrant says. A rearview mirror found near Espinoza's body may have come from Diaz's car, the warrant states.
HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW YOU HIT SOMEONE AND IF YOU ARE NOT DRUNK-WHY WHY WHY DO YOU NOT STOP???? DIAZ ALL I CAN SAY IS WHAT THE HELL???? DO YOU HAVE NO CONSCIENCE-NO SOUL-NO MORALS--THEY IS NO WAY YOU CAN EXPLAIN AWAY HITTING A PERSON TO WHERE HIS CLOTHING WAS ON YOUR WINDSHIELD.

The reason Linda Diaz did not stop after striking a man with her car was because she was drunk.

She had been drinking from 10:15 p.m. to approximately 3:30 a.m.

Can someone please explain how you leave a man dying on the highway? How can you tell me you don't know if you run over a person?

Every time I read the article "Pal tells BIA etc:, it makes me sick with dread that our people have harbored a cold-blooded woman all this time. The signals were there if only I had read them correctly. Worse, I don't think that anyone in the tribe is safe now. She could have left a tribal member to die (still possible)and she wouldn't be held accountable for her crime. At all!

Finally the wheels of justice are turning in Pojoaque Pueblo. Linda Diaz is out!!! The Governor finally came to his senses, he must have been appalled at that hocus-pocus witches on the roof defense Cathy Fierro, Linda's sister, tried on the jury. How embarrassing for the Tribe to have the likes of these two for Tribal Officials! I hope the Tribe can move forward into peace and harmony without the likes of Linda Diaz instigating discord and favoritism among the Tribe.

This representative of the Pojaque Pueblo, Ms.Diaz somehow beleives that she owes no responsibility to the 'hit-n run' accicent that killed Mr.Espinoza. She went out and selfishly drank to her enjoyment, left the bar, and drove a motor vehicle that hits an object hard enough to leave blood, tissue, hair, and fibers on the front of her automobile. She slept and waited off her intoxication for 30 hours. Most likely observed the damage and the blood finding on her car. She surely saw the news the next day after someone found his lifeless body crumbled on the side of the road could easily put the pieces together herself. Now that she is found out, she is dodging responsibility for the tragic death of this young man. Is it arrogance, stupidity, indifference or just pure selfishness on her part. She definitely is embarrasing the Pojoaque Pueblo and it's citizens and leaves another black eye for the Native American population. Ms.Diaz, no matter who you have as your lawyer, what smokescreens you wish to put up as a defense, this will not simply go away....your whole diabolicle plan is surely nauseating to the people of New Mexico...sleep well...

At least Linda Diaz got a fair trial. The way she treated some people in Pojoaque was awful and sometimes downright unlawful. She got to thinking she was god. I'm glad she got a taste of her medicine. Let's see how she feels now. Maybe she'll reflect and decide that she didn't have a right, morally or lawfully, to treat some people the way she did. She made a complete **** of her family and Pojoaque Pueblo.

I don't care who or what you are. Have a good life!! This topic for me is so over. I just hope that both Philip's family and Linda's family and friends can begin the healing process.
