Depression seems to be tied with the will to live. If you have a purpose, however minor, it keeps you going.
We are born into an artificial world. The social structure, accepted thing, and such. It can be very frustrating and inhibiting on a lot of levels. Gets worse when you are tagged with a disorder that is really just not being comfortable with the artificial "norm".
Clinically depressed people want to live. Otherwise they wouldn't be hanging on so long. Perhaps providing a new paradigm in their lives, allowing them to blaze a new personal trail within non-destructive limits would help them, and possibly society as a whole.
There is one thing about physical life, when there is something you have to do or really want to do, a real focus, then you can overcome many physical limitations. Clinical depression is a physical limitation.
How very insightful Dave...I noticed there was no reference to Wikipedia. Your mama must be so proud!

Yes, Zorkon, Texas is quite depressing.I found my overall mood and luster for life increased after moving to New Mexico.

Your point?

You left out 32 states from the list I gave you.

The link I posted above that post has all the states. Easier to read than what you posted.

Is it too much effort to click on it? Would that make you sweat too much?

Again, why? What's your point?

Besides, with my link all you have to do is move your mouse around. If you can find it.

Obnoxious Dave! At it again.

What is your problem? With this subject, anyhow. I posted one with the states ranked by unemployment. Very simple. You posted your normal mishmosh of data. Do you think I am stealing your thunder or something? How petty.

Who cares what ranks of the states are?

I mentioned that the unemployement number here was about 6.5, my correspondant responded with a national unemployment figure.

Now comes Dave Nelson into the conversation pointing out that New Mexico's unemployment is less than Hawaii's.

All I wonder is what does that have to do with the conversation we were having?.

You said you were in the top 2% of your class. Was that the 2nd grade?

Most of your comments are like that and are predicated to insult the intelligence of others.

Do you live in a bubble? I think your presumed education has gone to your head, such as it is.
