"Life begins at conception.
Man gains a human soul when God breathes the breath of life into his nose. Gen 2:7"

Once the Catholic Church believed and taught that the fetus had no soul until a time known as "quickening" which usually coincided with the time the fetus began moving. Today their tune has changed a bit, but why? If the church is all-knowing then why did it not know then what it knows now? Why was the fetus soul-less then and suddenly has one from the get-go now? Does the egg and the sperm contain half a soul?
What about spontaneous abortion caused by malnutrition, environmental pollution, a mother too young, stress from life's uncertainties?
If having an abortion is murder, is causing an abortion to occur an act of murder as well?
If the church ever fails to feed, fight pollution, protect children from rape, incest, and ignorance, help those in need, is it complicit in those abortions?
What about the men who contribute their sperm to the pregnancy? Are they due their share of the spite, the yelling, the scorn heaped upon women who visit family planning clinics for abortions? Should they too be picketed and pleaded with?
Why not a million dollar campaign to keep every sperm sacred (and safe "under lock and key?")
In this issue there is far too much a sense of the need for some people to control others as a reassurance that their own life is under the control of some deity.

I believe that Pastor Naranjo should be applauded for his courage for standing up for rightousness when so many people are afraid to. One day, each person will have to answer to God and those that proclaim to be Christians should fear their eternal fate if they cannot stand up for what is right and sacred in God's eyes. The killing of innocent babies is close to God's heart. We must speak up!

Not being a christian, I guess I won't have to answer. Whew, that's a relief. For a moment there I was worried

Most people who have witnessed an abortion will attest that it is a horrific act. And many women who have had an abortion suffer lifelong pangs of guilt. It's not so simple a matter as having a wart removed, because a human life is terminated.
Many women who bear a child to term also suffer from lifelong social, financial, emotional, romantic, and other burdens. The major struggle begins after the child is born, not before. Taking care of a child for at least 18 years may be a much greater burden than losing a fetus after three months.

I support the church. I wish more churches would do the same & I wish more christians would know Gods word so they would whole heartily stand with their church.
Hey , I used to drive a semi in 2008 for Covenant transportation, & I was at a truck stop, I think on interstate 10 in New Mexico. I had Santa Fe Chicken soup. It was the best! Does anyone have the recipe?
Thanks & God bless America

There is NO politician that is Pro-Life!!!
Abortion is NOT pro-life.
Disrespect to the homeless is NOT pro-life.
War is NOT pro-life.
Capital punishment is NOT pro-life.
Not feeding the hungry is NOT pro-life.
Not visiting the sick is NOT pro-life.
Not visiting the incarcerated is NOT pro-life.
PRO-LIFE is respect for life - WOMB TO TOMB!!!
Death to life is sinful in ANY stage of life, people!!! Stop promoting politicians, and vote for issues as taught in the corporal works of mercy, which embraces ALL life!
As mentioned above:
There is NO politician that is Pro-Life!!!
Weight the issues in Catholic Social Teaching, and NOT one issue!!!!!!!!!!
