Sneezing into your sleeve leaves all the germs on your sleeve. We are huggy people and it seems to me we would be passing germs along to everyone you hug. At least when you sneeze on your hand, you can go wash your hand. We often wear our clothes more than once without washing or dry cleaning, and with the elbo method that would really be a problem. I have alergies and sneeze a lot. The elbo is for bending my arm, not carrying my germs.
