God forgives but will make us accountable for what we've done in life. She knew she killed her mother why didn't she admit to it. Her heart belongs to the devil.
I agree with you, she will be judged.

If nothing else, hold your tongues and keep your opinions to yourselves. Not for Jen or her exhusband, not for Betty. I think everyone would agree that Nick and Kricket have been through more than enough without having to see nosy and disrespectful people discuss issues that have affected and uprooted every part of their lives. This may be some gossip column for the people who think they know Jen and the people who thought they knew her children or heard some second hand story of what "really happened", but for those kids, Jen is their mother. Guilty, not guilty, from her they came. And if any of you were forced into adulthood by trying to reconcile within yourself that your mother may have killed your grandmother, you would appreciate some privacy and respect. So please treat them as you would like to be treated.

AGREED. She was nuts but she KNOWS right from wrong--she is just a sociopath that only thinks of herself. Her kids get to deal with this now and SHE gets to sit in prison until her kids are 31 and 33 years old. She is missing them graduating from college and having families of their own--thats probably for their own good though--I personally would NOT have my kids in her presence...I hope she doesn't plan on having a relationship with her children after this. She turned their worlds upside down at 18 and 16 and that's not fair--they shouldn't have to suffer from her actions but they are. That's just life--too bad Jen didnt think that one through before going off the handle.
Your comment is the example of which you are...Cruel, Cold Hearted, and A Punk ****. Mental breakdowns lead people to do crazy things. I mean CRRAZY. But some times people like you would be better off crazy then judgmental of ill people like Jen. People who are sick in this manner never know when the mind will splits in half and makes them do and say off the wall things. When a person gets to this point that Jen did the sick person doesnít even know what they are doing. They have NO control what so ever .Its not like a drunk who encourages the behavior by drinking, its behavior like cancer that all of a sudden itís right in front of them and they feel detached from themselves.

You are just as if as crazy as Jennifer if not more. And you know nothing about Betty.
Used to Live There wrote:
and you people make me sick! I for one know what it was like to live with this family. I was with Jennifer for 7 years, 5 of those married. We lived either next door to Betty or in the same house for at least a year.
Betty wanted it that way, because she loved Jennifer and the kids, also Betty and I had a great relationship.
The reason I'm still not a part of that family was due to Jen's mental health issues. I'm not saying she did this and is guilty because I wasn't there. The kids were and they both tell me she didn't do it, they were there...that's good enough for me!
If you read the time line in the paper it makes no sense. Kricket is quoted in the paper as saying she woke up at 1:58AM hearing Betty's screams, but ignored them at first, thinking it was her brother's TV, yet the 911 call was placed at 1:58AM.
Did you know the children were interogated for over 20 hours with no sleep and one McD's Happy Meal. Meanwhile detectives were alternated so they could sleep and eat.
Did you know Kricket's clothes were taken from her and she was made to wear jail house clothes. They told her it was to see if there was any blood on her's, yet they didn't take Nick's. Kricket was never in the room.
Did you know these are military interogation techniques. These techniques have been used around the country on minors, many of these court cases are now being overthrown.
Why? Because they will get you to say anything, so you can go home and sleep. Before you say it, no I have never been through this, but saw it on NatGeo or Discovery.
Jennifer can be a handful but when she is in her own mind, she is the most caring and generous person you will ever meet. She always took pride in the kids doing well in school and sports. She loved them and would do anything for them. So did Betty. So did I and still do!
Even if she did do this, she needs to be in a mental health facility, not a prison.
For such beautiful country, a place that is supposed to be inhabitated with such liberal, free thinking individuals...
I lived there and could only count a minority of people who I would want to have as friends. After leaving there I have read the news & comments almost daily. The majority of which is crime, racism and hatred.
Look at what is going on around you, it's insane. Children being killed by their mothers, mass murder graves being excavated, home invasions, break ins, assasination type killings in the national forests, women being told if they had hit the intruders they were shooting at they would be prosecuted, state police and lawyers killing people in the streets with their cars, police harassing people on the streets during a celebration, law enforcement people taking drug money from crime scenes, it goes on and on.
Think about these things before you jump on the band wagon. Were you there????
Thank You

Thank you Jamie I could not agree more. Betty's grandchildren were a wonderful bright light in her life. Please Please everyone find something better to do with your time. Betty would be in tears right now if she knew what was going on. Or maybe she would say "take care of my family when I'm gone they mean the world to me, I love them very much" Please STOP and think what this is doing to the rest of Betty's family

So you think that because she was "sick" its a legitamate reason to take another life? No way in hell does that make ANY sense to me! Seriously--she deserves NO sympathy for what she did! Her being 'sick' is NO excuse! She turned people's lives upside down and she deserves to be punished for it! Kricket and Nick don't deserve this! Betty didn't deserve this! This is all OKAY because Jen was SICK?! Give me a f***ing break.

Jennifer should have done the thinking. Betty would be in tears, she raised a loon who killed her.

I've always said dont judge a book by its cover, but no matter how ****ed up my mom can be to me..I would NEVER kill her,but just to say from expirence the justice system in New Mexico is really jacked.Espically in Espanola the city police will twist and turn anything just to get a story n possibly a conviction..I guess anything to get a higher position espically being that there job pays **** to began with.N as for Dan Marllowe I think he's a great lawyer, but like most of u have said how can u get someone off that is plain out guilty reguardless the reasson for the crime.
