Look at what is going on around you, it's insane. Children being killed by their mothers, Lets not forget children killing there mothers. Looks like someone is still in love with a KILLER. I worked with Betty at the casino and can only say Jeniffer is guilty and has always been a nut job.

Once again I must ask, were you there? And yes there is a part of me who still is in love with Jennifer, her children and Betty. Everytime I see a hummingbird I can't help but think of Betty.

What I read it appears the ex-husband is trying to stand up for his ex-wife. The daughter had her chance to give her story on the supposed mistreatment but decided to tell the truth. At least she was raised right can't say that for Jennifer. Who was the daughter's role model. I hope for everyone who might be close to the family it wasn't jennifer. If It was run and hide. Looking at the pictures in the paper one could see she was crazy, she has that look. Where does she come from I wonder.

I know Jennifer personally as well and she always seemed like a total nutjob. She worked at Casablanca video with some friends of mine and I was friends with her kids. I went to school with BOTH of them and I hung out ALOT with Nick and Kricket--Nick at concerts and Kricket in and outside of school in various places.

The last time I saw Jennifer was at the casino and she asked me if I had seen nick (her son) with the "two little blonde sluts he hangs out with" and then she told me she hoped Kricket got her **** beat at school for 'running her mouth' about some girl she used to be friends with. She said "maybe then she'll learn"..clear indication that she saw violence as the answer to things like that. Kricket learned. I haven't talked to her in ages but I can tell that she has matured--this whole situation has FORCED her to.

Anyways, a few minutes later, Jennifer went off the handle in PUBLIC about how her kids don't want to live with her and they're running off with their Dad because "she doesn't have enough money for them" and she "clearly isnt good enough". She was CLEARLY angry.

It's SUCH a shame what happened because her kids are wonderful. I have lost touch with nick and kricket both but I would only want the best for them...they are incredible people and I really am saddened that they have to deal with all of this. Neither of them deserve it. Nick is such an intelligent young man with a killer sense of humor and Kricket has a heart of gold. They are both wonderful people. I wish them the best.

And I wish Jennifer would get more than 15 years...that is miniscule for what she did. I hope she realizes that she didn't just hurt herself by doing this--she hurt her family and her community as well.

I actually knew all involved in this case. The story she told me was her mom moved her here to get her away from a life of drugs and ganglike life on the east coast. Betty was afraid for her daughters life. got this story from mom and daughter and decided to move her to the country to save her. Arin who went by Jennifer told me the first day she met me she was crazy on SS and hate her mom. Hated Nambe. really wanted to move back to the city and was waiting for her daughter to turn 18 to go. one of our last conversations was she was going to make her mom sell her house one way or another. I believe that was her motive. She was and is crazy! but VERY aware of what she does and says. and is smart an manipulative. we are all still un-nerved by this tragedy. but imagine what those kids are now going through. they were home! this is sick! I am glad she was convicted but 1st degree should have been the charge. Premeditated!

I came from a critical dysfunctional family and my mother wasn't the easiest person to deal with, she was a dictator and ruled with an iron rod; a very cold soul it was her way or no way at all! Her family and relatives thought she was the most perfect human being in the world. You don’t know a person till you live with them; they didn’t! Years ago I decided to go far away! There are no bonds between the family and relatives and I am much happier now, they don’t even have my address and much less my phone number. I even dreaded going to visit for Thanksgiving and Christmas, I don’t anymore it’s been years. I don’t even make contact when there is death in the family I don’t just don’t go.
Now, to kill you're mother that’s going too far, there are other alternatives and she had a choice.

AGREED. She was nuts but she KNOWS right from wrong--she is just a sociopath that only thinks of herself. Her kids get to deal with this now and SHE gets to sit in prison until her kids are 31 and 33 years old. She is missing them graduating from college and having families of their own--thats probably for their own good though--I personally would NOT have my kids in her presence...I hope she doesn't plan on having a relationship with her children after this. She turned their worlds upside down at 18 and 16 and that's not fair--they shouldn't have to suffer from her actions but they are. That's just life--too bad Jen didnt think that one through before going off the handle.

I dont agree that it was some thing Jen wanted to do from the bottom of her heart. She is ill and her mother knew that . It is a hard situation to understand but only those like myself can understand because we have ill people in our families who need to be on medication and sometimes the mades dont help. The mind make our bodies do thing we dont want to do. It is a tricky thing.I just want to say God Bless you Jen and your childern.

God forgives but will make us accountable for what we've done in life. She knew she killed her mother why didn't she admit to it. Her heart belongs to the devil.
